Just read an update from collegestrike.ca and the impending province wide strike for the colleges won't happen. The professors voted 51% to accept the new offer which means no strike and I don't lose my semester! :)

I hope everyone had a good Valentines Day :) Mine was pretty good, don't have a mate yet so I spent time with the family which was really nice.

For the record I'd like to say I "strongly dislike" snow, we got like 8 inches here. Though I guess I should be thankful since I'm sure other places got hit way harder.

Well my birthday went great, hung out with some friends and played MW2 then today I had my birthday dinner and cake! Oh it was soo good! *licks his lips* Thanks again for the birthday wishes everyone!

Really where did this year go? It seems like just yesterday it was January and now it's December and the year is almost over. :o Makes me wonder how fast next year will fly by.

I am not a happy wolf. Found out that I'll only be working one day a month until at least April since we have no money. Courses were canceled which means I don't work and don't make money. So this means that money is tighter than ever and I have to find another job. Easier said then done especially where I live. I don't care if I get a job at Mcdonalds I'll take anything to give me some cash.

What does this mean for me as a furry? Next to no commissions (or if I do get the odd one it'll just be a cheap $10) and I might have to cut a con or two out. :/ sucks but that's the way life goes.

A fellow fur suffered a hard loss because someone thought it would be cool to set her apartment on fire. She and her mate are fine but they lost everything. This is a really awful thing that happened and she really needs help.

Well FA is finally back up so yay. I think it was good for some furs to go without FA for a bit :P gets them outside in the nice cold air...builds character.

Heh anyways so yeah I got good news and bad news. The good news is my dad finally found another job after having been laid off for a while :3 his new one pays better, is more secure and generally a big improvement than his previous one.

Also school is looking up (with the exception of one class) I'm doing really good. My professors told me I should take at least one course at university next year but I'm still not sure if I'm gonna do that.

While FA was down my mother was admitted to the hospital. She had bad back pain and we still aren't sure what really happened. Good news is she was released after 3 days and is doing great. :3


Now for the bad news, as we all know the economy isn't the greatest and now it's finally effected me. A course I was supposed to be on next year was canceled. This really sucks 'cause with all the cuts that have been going on I won't be working as much I as I was hoping. However there is hope, there's another weekend course run in London I was wanting to take. So I'm looking into that and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Even though Canadian Thanksgiving has long since passed since I used to live in the states I still celebrate American Thanksgiving (though this year we didn't have a turkey) So to all my buddies in the U.S I hope you all had a great day and ate lots! :)

Today on MSN I was chatting with my aunt and she I asked about a new avatar I made out of this pic I just got She knows I get commissions and she likes them. :) So she asked what I did with it and I said uploaded it. She asked for the website and I told her FA. She browsed around for a bit and actually said the place looked pretty cool! She even offered to help me find fur for my suit.

I've shown her pics from the BBQ before and she told me she really liked the suits ^^ and the art.

So I was on a break today when I noticed a poster advertising for someone to be the school's mascot (a Griffin). Apparently it's a paid position. My first thought was 'wow cool' I didn't think they paid people to do that. Sounds like it would be fun but I don't think I have the courage to go in front of hundreds of people :P haha

So last night my mother was looking thru my camera and she came across the pics from the BBQ. The surprising thing was she was fine with it. Didn't seem to care one way or another. This is good since I don't have to worry about her freaking out once I get a fursuit and I don't have to lie to her when I go up to a furmeet (or a con).

Ok did FA suddenly turn into Facebook or Myspace? It's getting really annoying to see nothing but pictures of people on the new submissions page. If you want to upload pics of yourself do it on a real social networking site, FA is not the place for that.

For those of you who don't know I've made a new account  tundru for commissions I get. This account will be devoted to photography. I figured it was best to separate my work from other peoples work.

I was just going thru my camera and I found a bunch of pics from the Condition Ignition BBQ in August. :P I can't believe I forgot about them for so long. I'll post 'em soon.

I likely won't be uploading anymore 3D stuff. I've had some problems with the new version of DAZ Studio and well...it's just not worth the effort. So from now on I'll just upload my photography and commissioned work.
