Posted 14 years agoYep, it's about that time again. By the first of next year I'll be switching to a new account. Hopefully by then I will have hit 1000 page views on this account and I can do my obligatory art celebrating that. Cause afterwards (or whether it happens or not) I'll have to move to the new account. My old handle here, Wolfzonie1, is outdated and no longer used. I need to create a new account with my more recent name. When I have the new account set up, I'll post another journal. If you're watching me on this account I would be HONORED if you would continue to do so on my new account once it's made. :) Just a heads up everyone. Posted 14 years agoSo last night Mack and I went to our first Furry event in town. We went bowling with a group of furries from all over AZ! :D It was like a mini-con! He and I didn't know that there were soooo many of us in the Phoenix area! It makes me so happy to know that there are more furs out there. We're all hooked up now to keep in touch with others and know when the next meets and events are. I can't wait to do it all again! <3333 It's like I've found my true family now. :3

Not much new, got my permit and am learning to drive, decorated my parent's house for Christmas and now am back on the hunt for a job. That's about it. I really need to get more artwork up. I'm waiting till a little ways into December before I put up

Posted 14 years agoSo, now that Halloween's all done with, I'm skipping over Thanksgiving straight ahead to Christmas apparently. XD I've spent the last few days in my free time doing Xmas related things. I listened to my first Christmas tune today (haha, I'm getting better, it's November 9th this year) and have been doing other stuff like building a Christmas Song Playlist, creating my Wishlist and researching good gift ideas for family and friends. :D I even made a wishlist for fantasy things I wish I could get for the holidays, lol. I guess I'm looking forward to the holidays this year. Over excited much? XD
In other news, I've finally finished my Externship and can officially graduate form college as a Certified Veterinary Assistant! ^^ I was supposed to have been hired after my hours were done at my extern site (Puppies -N- Love, a mall puppy store), but at the last moment, that chance got snatched away rather suddenly and rudely I might add (long story, PM me or something if you want details). So now I'm on a job search at possibly the crappiest time of year to do so. >_< I'm simply looking to be a kennel attendant or something. I don't mind cleaning up poop and being what some may call a "grunt". All I know is I want to care for animals, not necessarily put all the hard core vet training I got to the test. I'm just not confident in my abilities and my heart's just not in it anymore. But I still need a job, desperately.
Also coming up I'll be learning to drive AT LAST! I'm signed up for a driver's ed course on the 20th that will get me my permit and eventually my license through it. <3 I'm excited and terrified at the same time. No more shitty bus rides! Yay! Oh and guess what? I GOT INHERITANCE! Book four of the Eragon Series. 8DD Mack got it for me as a surprise. I luff him. <333 I need to start reading it as soon as I'm sure all the important crap is out of the way, cause I know very well I will become indisposed as soon as I truly pick it up. XD
Recently I've been going through a lot of Medicine changes too. Having gone to new doctors and therapists now they have discovered and diagnosed me as no longer being (and ever having been) Bipolar, but instead I have Temporal Lobe ADD (really complicated definition, just PM or something), Irlen's Syndrome (Reading/Light Sensitivity Disorder) and Depression. So, all my meds are being switched around. Instead of taking a cocktail of pills everyday that makes me feel like a thousand pounds of horse shit, I'm working my down to just a few of them. I don't feel so awful anymore. My newest med for the ADD is awesome, it's making me feel focused, motivated and generally a lot more myself. I feel like the person I've always known has been inside me. :3
Lol, yup, that's about it for now. Things are going pretty good at this point, I'm content and look forward to the future! Life is good. :)

Broken Tablet Pen Bullshit ¬_¬
Posted 14 years agoSo yesterday, in the middle of a drawing, my tablet pen decided to take a crap on me. The very tip plastic part of the pen (not the nib, the part that houses the nib) snapped off. I've done nothing to stress it there so I really don't get how it broke. It's bullshit. Now I can't really draw arts at all with it, the nib isn't stable in the pen's barrel anymore. And what's worse? I can't seem to find replacement pens for it ANYWHERE! It looks like I'll be buying a whole new tablet soon, and maybe this one will be bigger... *Sighs.* This sucks. Balls.

Posted 14 years agoLuna, my fat ass black cat has found she likes to be spanked... She eagerly and willingly will turn around with her butt facing me and mews. When I start smacking or drumming my hands on her rear (gently of course, it sounds worse than it is) she goes nuts and tears at the surface (in most cases in her favorite spot on a rug on the edge of the conversation pit) she's laying on. If I stop she bites me insisting I continue. I find this strange, hilarious and disturbing. XD I hope to have a video of her soon. I'm back in college, getting good marks and making new friends now that I'm in a different time period (afternoon, not evening class). Up next I have Animal Restraint and then I get a break while everyone else does Math then I come back and do Anatomy and Physiology parts 1, 2 and 3. Then it's externship for me! I'm still not sure what I want to do with my Vet education, but I do know whatever career I take it will involve animals. :)
I'm not really doing much else at the moment, just trying to get through school and stay sane while living with my mate. J/k ;P Love you baby. Anyways though, I'm still roleplaying, randomly drawing artwork and occasionally picking away at my writing. Things are good. Oh, it seems that I've also lost a little weight recently. 10 pounds to be exact. I'm pretty proud and hope I can keep it off. ^^
So yeah that's about it. If I think of more to say I'll put it up here. M'kay? :D

Why do I obsess over new songs I hear and like? DX (+update)
Posted 14 years agoI swear I play the song over and over on repeat for hours if I really like it. My current obsession is Undisclosed Desires by Muse. I wish I could tell you just how many times I've played it today alone. o_o It's weird. Anyways, yeah, mini rant over.
I'm just giving anyone who reads this or cares an update. I'm still happily living with my mate and our little "apartment" in the garage looks awesome. :D In April I go back to college to finish my last few classes and my externship. I have not been able to find a job and now it's too late to get one cuz school will conflict with my hours. My parents and I are on pretty good terms now, I've been moving my stuff out of the house slowly in bags, boxes and bins and bringing it all to Mac's house. Things seem to be pretty good right now if you don't count the numerous health problems that are popping up and the fact that I literally have only 10 dollars to my name. D: I owe a few people some money and I can't fucking get it to them, it's making me feel awful. But I'm trying, I really am! My next priority is learning to drive though, I'm studying the permit manual now. :) All in all it's going well. I've been keeping busy writing and such, and maybe I'll put up some of my stuff though I doubt it will get a good response. I'm busy a lot of the time taking care of shit, but maybe some of you guys, my friends can catch me online on Yahoo IM. I'm usually busy or invisible but you can try and see if I'm there I want to hear from youuuuuuu!. ;_; Anywho, yeah, that's about it. Wheeee! <3

Anyways, just a little update, since my "BIG CHANGES" Journal. I am still living with Mac at his house, have a potential job lined up at his mom's work, and am working cooperatively with my parents now. They seem to have calmed down now. They're still covering my medical insurance and my cell phone. Today mom and I are gonna go to the DES for me to apply for Food Stamps and I also get my new glasses too. I'll have pics later. ^^
The only real icky thing about these past few weeks is the stomach problems I've been having. I went to the doctor and they're gonna run a few tests. They basically said I have the stomach flu, but they want to find out what is causing the pain etc. I'm working through all that now, heh. But yeah things are okay now for the most part. :)
Now for me to shamelessly advertise...

BIG CHANGES... PLZ READ!
Posted 14 years agoSo last night shit hit the fan. After a painful, loud and difficult argument with my parents, and some big decision making on my part, I packed up everything I could and left my house to live with my mate Mackenzy. It wasn't supposed to be this way, this wasn't supposed to happen yet, but I need to make decisions for myself and I needed to get away from my parent's influences. I feel as if they're controlling me, and have too much of a hold on me. I needed to break away and do what is best for me.
I'm currently searching for a job, I'll be going on a leave of absence from college and trying to get my affairs in order. I don't want this rift to be permanent, I love my family, but I just need some space; and now that I can take that action I'm doing so.
Kerry: My biggest apologies for not being able to take you with me, as weird as that sounds. I promise I haven't forgotten you and we will see each other again. You're like a sister to me, and I love ya. I just gotta figure things out for myself right now.

Posted 14 years agoYep, despite some minor edits still happening here and there Forge is now reopened. If you were a former player you will need to reread the game manual so you know what rules and such have changed. All applications are saved under "Previously Accepted" so that you may copy and edit them. I hope to see you all there, keep recruiting members and advertising if you can! ^^ There are still Alpha positions open too so if interested in one let me know! :D Oh and if there's any questions, go ahead and ask. <3 I'm excited! Hopefully Forge will last this time around.

Posted 14 years agoSo I've decided to put Shifted Shouls aside and work on Forge (thanks to those still interested), it's coming along pretty good. It's been hard lately cause school is making me severely depressed. I want to quit so bad, I don't want to be a vet assistant anymore, and so have gone down hill trying to pretend to be and enjoy something I don't truly have the heart for anymore. All I want to do lately is sleep. But I'm trying to push through it. I know I'll be okay eventually.
In other news, I'm trying to start drawing more again, and I still need a new icon. I'm gonna change it to another photomanipped one for now, but I still am looking for an animated or drawn one. I think I may have to ask for a trade or something. *Shrugs.* Anywho, I'm just trying to take care of myself. I've got my RL support and I know there are some of you out there that support me as best you can. I really appreciate it. <3 I'll try to keep you all updated as to what's happening with the site. :)

I really need a new icon...
Posted 14 years agoI just realized that I've been using the same icon for like...ever. I have some more that I've made myself but I'd rather them not be photomanips and actually art, lol So yeah, if anyone feels up for making me a new icon that'd be great, though nobody should feel required to.
In other news, I'm just hanging around the house with mah friends. I'm watching one of them play Pokemon games on the Wii. I'm working on a new RP site and I'll have more information about it once it's more put together. :) So yeah, not much new here. I'm bored. v.v

I got:
*A massive stuffed white tiger, which I'll have pictures of soon. I hope my pet tiger won't get jealous. o.o
*An iPod docking station with speakers of excellent sound quality. <3
*Lots of gift cards and some money.
*Socks, three pairs.
*Mary-kate and Ashley "raep spray" perfume. :P
(Here's where it gets funny... XD)
*TWO copies of both the Neon Dragon Art Evolution drawing book, AND the How to draw furries drawing book. I gave the second Evolution book to my friend Kerry and the other Furries book (no not the one you gave me Ian :P) to my BF Mackenzy.
Among other miscellaneous things, that was my Christmas. ^^ My favorite part had to be sending Kerry on a wild goose chase to find her last present, Mackenzy and I got her a red Wii. We hid clues all over the house for her to follow. Her face when she opened the box was priceless. :) It made my day. So yeah, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I send a special shout out of thanks and love to Ian for sending me his very own copy of the Draw Furries book all the way from Japan! <3 Love ya!
