No, I’m not dead yet. I know I’ve been really absent here and on other places but I’m still alive. I’m not even hiding myself either I’m just… Well, lots and lots of things have been happening this year. Between the death of a family member and of a very dear friend of mine to a sudden change on my life that I won’t go into details, well… Let’s just say I have not been feeling good at all.
I’ve been trying to recompose my life but I’ve been doing it at an extremely slow pace since I’m really REALLY tired. I’m also quite frustrated because I’ve been able to draw as I used to do as I feel little to no inspiration. That doesn’t mean I’m not finishing what I owe, specially since I’m doing it as of now just at a slow pace, as I said.
I’m really sorry about the inconveniences but I really didn’t expect my life to turn this way. Specially not that fast. Just know that I’m still here and I’m still trying to do my best! I’m not gone, I’m not hiding. I’m here!

Possible Name Change/Account Change
Posted a year agoI've been thinking a lot lately about changing my artist name from Xheten to Mommy Shide as I no longer feel comfortable using that name since it reminds me somethings from years ago. Sadly, that means changing my FA account completely since FA refuses to add a way to change usernames.
I'd like to ask for your opinion for this. What do you think? Should I do it?Yet another life update
Posted a year agoWell, here we go again.
Here's another life update and explanation on why I've been so silent lately.
Last month was quite a bit stressful and anxiety filled that not only my mental health went to the floor but also my physical health. Due to this I suffered from strong headaches that lasted for almost an entire week non-stop as well as chest pains for hours and lastly from needles I may heart.
Because this problems of personal matter and indirect matter I escaped my city away from almost everything and everyone to take care of myself for an entire month. I gave a few signs of life here and there just to let people know I was alive but not much.
Over this month I worked on myself by calming and relaxing as well as tending to my overall health. I made so much progress on my own self steem and other things.
Right now, I'm back to my city and ready to keep working on all of the stuff I left pending and ready to improve my life. Just so you know.

I think you may have noticed I've been quiet here. I'm still alive, just so you know. The thing is... I've not been feeling well at all.
Lot's of things have been happening in my life right now. Between health issues, mental issues and emotional issues I've been so down lately that I can't even hold my pen for just a few minutes without feeling bad. And to make matters worse, even if I can draw I'm artistically blocked right now.
I've been so burnt out mentally as well because of a recent diagnosis that I've been trying to learn how to deal with it specially since most people do not understand what's happening, while also being super anxious and stressed about many things that have been happening between my family, friends and me.
And my emotional problems have also been because I've been suffering a lot of dysphoria on an almost daily basis that has me crying almost every day and, honestly, without any kind of energy to even get up from bed on some days. There's also another situation but that's more private but has been affecting me nonetheless.
Because all of this I've been having lots of really hard crisis and with such I've been really absent and unable to do most things. Hopefully you'll understand why I've been so silent.
I'm sorry if I inconvenience anyone with this but I've been trying really hard to get up.Finishing commissions + Alan Wake stream today!

Feeling like giving up (Vent journal)

Lately I’ve feel like giving up on this drawing thing… I mean, I’ve tried so hard, I’ve tried to improve as much as I could and I’ve tried to learn new things and try some others I’ve never did but even then… I feel like my drawings are not getting enough reach. Just a few comments from close people and one or two favs whatsoever. To make maters worse I got even more sad with all of this situation when I saw that the trade a friend gave me that I colored had an even bigger reach than any of my previously or recently uploaded drawings even when I genuinely tried my best on the last submissions to the point I got myself hurt and have hand cramps now.
Also, whenever I try to sell some commissions or YCH’s I get close to nothing. Just a few commissioners on some drawings or none at all on some YCH’s.
I’m just… tired… depressed… about this whole situation. I normally don’t give up to anything but I just been feeling like that lately. That I’m no worth being around or call myself an “artist”.
Can I have your opinion? At least on this? Or am I going to get ignored like every single other journal I've ever posted

Posted 14 years agoHabía olvidado que tenia que informar que por fin ya tengo laptop, como se puede ver, y esto desde hace ya como dos meses pero como dije antes me había olvidado de decirlo.
Ahora, no he hecho cosas realmente importantes en cuanto a "arte" se refiere, lo único que puedo decir acerca de esto es que tal vez me andaré dedicando al Pixel art en Minecraft.
Por ultimo, y estoy seguro de que nadie se ha dado cuenta (ni si quiera estoy seguro de vayan a leer este journal), cambie mi apellido a Snowmoon; ahora soy Xheten Snowmoon (no me canso de escribirlo xD).
Sin más que decir, Xheten Snowmoon fuera

My laptop died T_T
Posted 14 years agoApproximately a month ago my laptop died and since then I have no way to see all my messages or comment and I'm sure that nobody didn't noticed that I had no activity, so please I ask for some patience until I get something to connect to Internet. For now I have my iZombie (Zombie iPod Touch xD) so I will try to be up to date in all I can. Thanks

Ademas he recibido nuevas actualizaciones para mi sistema operativo neuronal que incluyen nuevas formas de dibujo incluyendo por fin el feral

I'm lost again
Posted 15 years agoComo algunos habran notado me desapareci hace un tiempo y algunos se preguntaran ¿Porque? Bueno, el motivo de mi desaparicion es porque hace unos meses mi pantalla se quemo y el unico dispositivo donde podia conectarme era mi celular pero ya tambien hace un rato que me lo robaron, me quede sin nada con que conectarme hasta hace poco que me prestaron este Wii del cual les escribo. Asi que intentare ponerme al corriente con los 200 y tantos submissions y demas mensajes pero sera dentro de unos dias ya que quiero recuperarme de un golpe sentimeental que me dieron.

Posted 15 years agoPerdonen mi desaparicion repentina pero es que mi computadora andaba muy mal en cuanto a rendimiento y el simple hecho de abrir el IM, el Safari o el Firefoz hacia que se alentara mucho y me daba hueva ^_^! Pero al menos logre reparar mi laptop (o eso parece) para ponerme al corriente.
Estoy de regreso y listo para ver, comentar y vaciar mi bandeja de entrada *revisa su bandeja* DEMONIOS!!! SON UN MONTON!!
