There you’ll see a lot more activity from me and what I’m doing lately if that’s of any interest at all. Will I get more art pieces in the future? Maybe, but no plans for now. Focusing of work and other stuff for now.

Hello hello!

I am aroundish somewhere or another.
I guess this journal will be a bit of catchup for y'all that are maybe interested.

Where have I been?
I'm not going to lie, the past year or two have been incredibly difficult in numerous ways. To put it shortly, if not also bluntly, I went to a really bad place mentally and needed to take care of myself. So I did just that. I got help, and I've been trying to grow to what I hope to be an overall better, healthier person.

With that being said, I had to prioritize what I had to do to actually take care of myself. Disconnect from more toxic people or environments, Pick up healthy hobbies and relationships, be true to myself and limit my time on the internet/social media. Amongst some other things.

Things have been getting better overall since then and I am in a much better place than I was back then. Still some rough things that need to be sorted out still, but it's getting there.

I do want to say, to anyone one here that might have been worried, if I have not really talked to you or been quiet, I am sorry. Something I've been really trying to be better at is not letting my anxiety get the better of me and to admit that if I hurt or worried someone, that I apologize and try to do better. I don't ever mean to hurt anyone and as far as I know atm, I don't know of anyone that is worried, but if you are there and you are or were worried, then I'm sorry. I'm okay and I hope you're doing okay as well. I'll try and be better about it.

In other news, I've been working THAT much more on video production projects. Still freelancer but I'm in the workings of helping a production studio put together a show for hopefully Netflix or something. It's still early on and me and my colleagues are putting a treatment for the studio right now so we can see if we can get funding to shoot said show. Also am currently working on another show that's currently proposed to be a web series but we are interested in pitching it to the same studio to see if they are interested in helping fund and distribute it somehow. We've shot 3-4 weekends I believe of material and have some promo stuff as well to put a trailer together for them at the pitch so...here's hoping that goes well or we can find at least a studio that would be interested in funding it.

That's not the only things I have been working one. I've also directed a music video recently and am putting that together in editing right now. Shot a short film that's in the middle of post. Put together a small reel for myself and a colleague for just work in general but also to give to the same studio I mentioned earlier. Which I will show right here:



I've also been drumming again! It's been something I haven't done in like...5 years till around last year I think now? I've been back at it and have played with a band. Moved on from them, working with a buddy of mine and may play live soon and am looking for gigs or other interesting artists to work with. I've really enjoyed playing drums again and want to keep going at it.

What about my character or my art?
Well, the character is basically me...just in anthropomorphic form. So really any changes that happen will be to the same character. Might be named differently, as I don't think ExclusiveChan has really aged all that well since it was just an internet handle for so many years for me. I might change the name or change some things about the character, but he will be, well, me. So I wont be selling him or the art or anything. I do want to eventually get new art with him and revise him as well, but I don't currently know when that will happen. My finances are tight and I just don't have enough to invest in art at this time. Hence another reason I've been gone for so long.

Hopefully soon though, I'll have the means to get art and maybe even go to cons again and connect with more lovely people in this community.

Yesterday was  KaragenHill 's and I's 5th anniversary yesterday. Time really flies I tell you what. Overall was a nice day spending time together and getting a very nice dinner as well. Love you Lion butt!

I know I've been kinda quiet a lot lately and there are various reasons for that, but hopefully soon I'll be a bit more talkative to everyone and maybe get other commissions eventually. Money's been tight (had to move) and I've been working a lot.  tinymars did a great piece for me to send to Kara on our anniversary. I'll post it later but definitely check it out on TinyMars page. Heyo everyone! So like, I'm really terrible at following bandwagons and such, but I have noticed a lot of people really digging this UnderTale game. Have played it. Now, I'm not really saying I'm going to play it or this is a journal helping me decide on playing it....maybe I will, maybe I won't. Just depends if I really want to or not, but I am really curious and want to open up discussion on this:

Why has UnderTale really struck a chord with you? What about it for you personally moves you so much to really love it or enjoy it like you do? I'm not asking for a splurge comment, though this journal is open to any comment and discussion whether you like the gam or not. Hell if you don't, mention why. Go deep into why. Just be respectful. But for personal studies..meaning I'm just curious as fuck and like to examine human nature in this regard...what about it is so moving (or not if you don't like it) for you? Again, get really deep here.

And if you don't like it ally all or just have another game that has this effect on you, then discuss it. Go for it. Just make sure to keep an open mind and not flame anyone for their opinions. This is a chill environment (lol hopefully) and we are all just trying to discuss how we tinker and what things we like/love.

Hello there! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. I've just got back not long ago from my yearly trip to see family up in Canada. Always a fun time. This time though, for fun, I decided to take my new camera I've acquired a bit before Christmas with me. Wanted to test it in certain scenarios and have fun with the dynamic range. So, because I'm dumbz lolz, I've made a little video of various pieces of footage of me heading to Canada, enjoying my visit, and heading back home. Nothing mind-blowing but Canada did make for some very beautiful imagery to work with. :D
