This is my journal of resources that I want to share with anyone wanting to learn 3D animation or modeling with Blender.

Blender's website, where you can download the latest version of Blender.

Here's the Blender Demo files that you can look at how Blender.org puts together their films. They even have some assets!

Here's Blender's Animation Fundamentals course, though it costs $12/month.
And here's where you can download some starter rigs to use while you learn!
Once you've got a little experience with animation, and want to work on character acting, Blender also has these free characters and rigs for you to use!


3D Modeling:

The best way to learn is by having fun, if you aren't having fun, set it down and come back to it!
And if you want to learn more about some button? Right click and select "online manual" to open Blender.org's documentation on it! You can also hover your mouse and hit F1.

Animation is complicated, it's dirty, and  ruaidri told me he animates lies, because he animates for the camera. You can see in other people's work in progress animations that characters aren't animated until they are on screen. I hope these resources help give you what you need to get started!
