Zootopia 10th Anniversary Art Contest Registration Open!

Hey everyone! The new trailer for Zootopia 2 has just released, so I feel now is a good time for me to open registration for my Zootopia 10th anniversary art contest! The anniversary date is March 4th, so registration will close January 30th and the last day to submit will be February 28th.

WARNING: This is a fetish art contest! While all artwork will be accepted, the entries that better align with my preferences will have a greater chance at winning one of the top prizes.

PRIZE AMOUNTS:

Everyone who submits an entree will be guaranteed a $20 consolation prize, $40 if you submit one entry per theme.

RULES:

- You must give your piece a title.

- All entries must be SFW, but teasing/fetishy themes are allowed. No anatomically correct nudity, but toon nudity is fine.

- While I strongly prefer Nick Wilde to be the main focus, any slender male character in the Zootopia style is perfectly suitable.

- Your piece can be any form of visual medium, including (but not limited to) animations, 3D renderings, comics, sequences, pose pages, etc.

- You are welcome to submit up to 2 entries, one for mpreg and one for sneezing, meaning you would be eligible to win at least $40 for doing so. You're also welcome to submit only one entry for one category.

- It would be beneficial to stay as close to the Zootopia style as possible if you want a better chance at earning one of the top prizes.

Keep in mind that I will be judging these on both artistic merit as well as my own personal tastes. I will share my preferences below.

The main draw of mpreg for me is not only seeing a male character going through the process of creating new life that his partner would normally go through. Also seeing a skinny character with a prominent bump jutting straight out from his body is very exhilarating to me. Since Nick Wilde has a long torso and short legs, I like to imagine his belly sitting fairly low on his body near his pelvis. I also like when the belly stays contained, not taking up a large part of the body. I like seeing a small gap between the chest and belly. One thing I love about mpreg as opposed to normal female pregnancy is the stark contrast between the flat chest and big round belly.

I like the belly to be shown as soft, but firm. Think like an inflated balloon or like a hard-boiled egg without the shell. I also like when the top of the belly is almost level so that it could potentially be used as a shelf. For the belly button, I really don't like outies. I prefer seeing the belly button as a shallow innie like a small divot or indention in the middle of the belly, maybe with a small ridge below it to showcase the tightness of the fur/skin. I also like when the clothes are loose fitting/oversized. I especially love when the belly fills out and stretches the waistband of the pants a bit, being worn a little higher on the body to show the way the fabric stretches to accommodate the growing bump.

Lastly, I know this doesn't make sense IRL, but I love when there's a sense of buildup/anticipation leading to a kick or labor, such as the belly gurgling/twitching. I love the temporary nature of pregnancy, so seeing the belly act up in a way, knowing that it's all about to come to an end, is really exciting to me. Trying to hurry and get one last feel before it's gone forever is one of my favorite scenarios. I also find it fun when the character shows no sign of pain, managing to stay completely calm when it's time. Sometimes I also like when the belly tilts upward or takes on an unusual, unnatural shape when it's fully contracted.

Overall, what I'm looking for is anything where the belly is the main focus. This includes Nick showing it off proudly or in a playful way as well as him or anyone else showing it lots of affection. Forms of affection can include rubbing, patting, kissing, hugging, listening to, and applying slight pressure to his belly. This can be romantic, platonic, or both.

If you are unsure of what scenario to use, I'll share a few of my favorite ideas.

1. Nick and Judy making a video showcasing Nick's bump near the end of his pregnancy, intending to show it to the one Nick is pregnant with when they're older so they know where they came from.

2. Judy's family throwing Nick a baby shower.

3. Nick having a party at the ZPD before he goes on paternity leave.

4. Nick playfully freaking Finnick out with his pregnancy, knowing how much it freaks him out.

5. Nick interacting with random mammals while out in public, maybe offering free hugs in a park when he's near his due date.

6. Nick sharing tender moments with his kit, reassuring that he'll protect them from having to deal with the trauma he dealt with as a kid.

Now for sneezing, while I find the actual sneeze itself exciting, it's the buildup and suspense leading up to it that is the best part for me, especially if it happens at the worst possible time, like while trying to hide or while on a bus or somewhere else public, dealing with a cold and trying not to sneeze out of fear of infecting others. With Nick's long nose and how sensitive his sense of smell would be, I imagine he's quite prone to sneezing.

Generally, I like the physical signs of an impending sneeze, including sniffing, nose twitching/wriggling, nostrils flaring, muzzle scrunching up tight, nose turning upwards slightly, etc. I also love to imagine Nick announcing/warning whenever he feels a sneeze coming on, his breath hitching as he tries to speak until he begins to have a suspenseful hitching session until he eventually takes a sharp inhale and sneezes.

One of my most favorite things to see is when someone (or someone the sneezer knows) holds their finger under their nose to attempt to hold the sneeze in, perhaps succeeding the first time and failing the second time. I'm also really into colds because of how a sneeze could come on at any time and the added sense of danger, trying not to sneeze so you don't spread your cold to others. I also love messier sneezes, but not excessively. As bad as it sounds, seeing someone getting sneezed on is a big plus in my book.

In case you need some inspiration, here are a few scenario ideas listed below.

1. Nick is looking for a culprit in Little Rodentia, trying not to sneeze and cause destruction.

2. During an interrogation at the ZPD, Nick discovers his suspect is germaphobic and threatens to sneeze on them if they don't talk.

3. Nick gets angry with a freeloading mouse living in his kitchen wall, so he traps them by sticking his nose into their mousehole and threatens to sneeze their home away.

4. Judy takes care of Nick while he's sick, Nick trying his best not to sneeze while around her. Maybe he runs out of tissues at some point and has to ask Judy to hurry and get him something to sneeze into because he's about to make a mess.

5. Nick needing to sneeze while hiding with Judy during a police operation, perhaps from something brushing against his nose.

6. Nick somehow getting a tiny mouse or other small mammal inside his nose, eventually sneezing them out and launching them someplace.

When you complete your piece, you can submit it to your account and send me a link or you can send me a note here on FA with a link to your finished piece. Your submission will be due by 11:59 PM on February 28th. On that date, I will take 2-3 days to look over all the submissions and choose the winners. After reviewing all the submissions, I will send you a note on FA telling you if you placed in the top 10 or won a consolation prize. On the anniversary date of November 8th, I will post each piece on my account. If you do not wish for me to share your submission, let me know. I can also credit the artwork as done by anonymous if you prefer.
