Weekly Update! (2026-02-22) A Little Lot To Do

Hey there little wibbles!

As I said last week, I’m going to be taking the next two weeks off streaming to handle administrative tasks and get some things around the house taken care of.

I’m going to be working on the site, organizing my spreadsheets, getting back to people, answering messages, and working on cleaning up things around the house.

I’ve got a routine lab appointment on Saturday (the booster on Thursday went about as well as it could have, so I’m happy about that) and we’ve got family visiting the following week, so I’ve got a lot to do in meatspace to prepare for things.

Things are progressing nicely, however! I’m done with the voteys until March, I’ve got one last commission sequence to take care of, and I’m aiming to finally get back to comics (for good) as Spring settles in!

As for the issues with Discord and that, I have backups that I’m going to try to make use of (being the forum and a dedicated clubhouse on a hosted chat client) among the subscribers and long time members that I’ve already talked about in the Discord itself (part of the site revitalization.)

I know I’ve been very quiet for a long while and I haven’t been on top of my e-mails and messages. This last year has been very hard for me; I’m sure a lot of people can relate. But now that the move is over and the winter has passed, I’m starting to recover and get things started once again.

I admit, it seems like I’m constantly in a state of struggle, always promising big things and then kind of tripping and stumbling and never quite getting there, so from now on I’m going to try and just... work on the little things and build a good foundation. No big projects or huge aspirational things. I already have Various Happenings and Clara Cosmos, and while I do have other projects in mind, I’m going to build up up slowly and let them mature when it’s time.

I’m feeling good about the way things are heading. Even if the world is kind of burning down around our ears, we can all still build our own fortresses against the worst of it. It’s our duty, even!

So yeah, I’m gonna be working, and I’ll see y’all for streams in a couple of weeks. I’ll be ready and raring to art then! It’s cold again, but hopefully it’ll break for spring, soon!
