There are only benefits. Sin isn't bad for no reason, don't lie and you never have to be embarassed when caught. Don't lie and you won't do stuff you wouldn't want to admit you did. Not killing and not stealing is obvious, as well as sleeping with a married person.
People say "if there is a God, why is there so much suffering ?" and it's a good question. The answer is there's so much suffering because people don't follow the 10 commandments and harm others and themselves. Simple as that.
Give God a chance. Just talk to God in the intimacy of your room, ask him to guide you to him if he exists. Nothing to lose and everything to gain.
