Hey folks!

As I work my way through XXXmas, my final batch of commissions for 2025, I'm already looking ahead to the new year! In 2025 I wrote a whooooole bunch of stories, and even in the summer months where my workload normally slows down considerably due to the heat, I was able to get through several batches of my short "Summer Heat" themed stories. In fact I had a tonne of fun with all the themed batches I wrote this year, including the one I'm working on right now. With that being said, as the year went on I noticed something about those stories.

These short themed stories I'm writing, y'know the ones that are meant to be around 2000 words?

I keep writing them at almost, if not more than, double that length. XD Don't get me wrong, it's not because the ideas are immensely complicated; I'm just full of words, and y'all keep giving me the most amazing characters and scenarios to write about. :D Buuuuut with that being said, it does lead me to think that I'm itching to write some more long stories where I can always devote my time to deeper interactions and more elaborate scenarios between a few or a whole bunch of characters.

With that in mind, while I will probably do a themed batch or two later on in 2026, and I'll certainly take on a lighter workload from June to August to avoid the scorching summer melting me in my office, I'm going to make a real effort to announce and open up for regular, monthly batches where all my story commission types are available.

Starting in January, probably on the first Friday of the month (the 2nd, I believe), I'll open for a commission batch of TEN stories (of any commission type I offer) that will fill up my schedule. So if you've been itching for a long piece (and indeed I know there are a couple of you I've chatted with, only to say "ah sorry, I won't be available to write that in in October, or November, or December D:"), or something shorter that just doesn't fit in with the themed batches I've been working on, fear not! Next year I'll do my very best to give everyone plenty of opportunities to grab regular commissions. <3

I don't have any plans to raise my prices in 2026, so hopefully somewhere between my £20gbp 3WP stories and my £125gbp "full-length" 6000-8000+ word pieces, there'll be something to fit all budgets, so if you're interested in grabbing something, the opportunity will be there for you as the year rolls on. :3
