Kanada offered me a gift for Christmas, and we brainstormed this lovely thing: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/64740649/I had a lot of fun brainstorming the various abilities and what not, so here they are for those interested:
The Eyes:
The Big Eye: Luck Drain/Gain
The Behoppper chooses a single target that it must keep its purple main eye focused on to apply one of the following effects:
- Target has Disadvantage on ALL rolls.
- Target has Advantage on ALL rolls.
The effect lasts for as long as the target remains within line of sight, and more than half their body is visible to the Behoppper.
The Ear Eyes: Lazy Beams
Both ears have three blue eyes each, arranged in a line around the rounded end of them. When under their collective gaze a highly potent muscle relaxant is applied to the target for a period of time. All of their muscles become numbed and difficult to move with any sort of accuracy. Their speech will be heavily slurred because of this.
The Beard Eyes: Itchy Beams
There are three orange bloodshot eyes hidden in the Behopper’s beard. Anyone targetted by them has either of the following effects applied to them:
- Their entire body becomes very itchy.
- A specific point on their body becomes extremely itchy and sensitive.
The itchiness caused by the first effect will be noticeably aggravating to the target, and will persist for many minutes, or until the entire body has been sufficiently scratched. On the other hand, it is exceptionally difficult for the target to resist scratching the itchy spot bestowed upon them by the second effect, but it is much easier to satisfy this itch due to its localized nature. The heightened sensitivity causes the target to feel orgasmic euphoria for the duration of the itch, and may cum several times while it is being scratched, depending on their ability to resist pleasure. This can possibly result in several outcomes if the target’s willpower is too weak:
- That spot becomes permanently affected with a weaker variant of the effect that will hit them in waves periodically until they can find a cure for it.
- Any orgasms achieved after the effect is gone are weak and disappointing compared to the one(s) attained while under the effect, and may cause the target to search out the Behoppper for further “doses”.
- The target gains a generalized kink for scratching other people’s itches, or having their itches scratched by others.
- Scratching an itch anywhere on the body causes the target to become moderately aroused.
The “Hand” Eyes: Telekinesis Beams
Since the Behoppper has no proper hands, it instead has two eyestalks with small fleshy villi around the rim of the eyelid that mimic hands. The indigo eyes within them can telekinetically lift almost anything they look directly at based on the object or person’s weight and its resistance to magical effects. This ability is more for utility than offense, but it can be used to disarm or disorient unruly opponents.
The Tail Eye: Heat Ray
The red eye on the Behoppper’s puffball of a tail can fire a ray of extreme heat. This is predominantly used to ignite the gas the creature expells from its three anuses, either as a way to attack targets behind it, or as a method of unorthodox forward propulsion. While the Behoppper will find steering its trajectory difficult, it can be useful for quickly getting out of a fight it otherwise might lose. Otherwise, the ray the eye emits is a fairly generic Heat Ray, and is of no further note.
The Gold Eyes: Transform Into Coins
Each of these yellow eyes on long stalks protruding from the back of the Behopper can target a single object or person and turn them into gold coins equivalent to their weight. If a person is targeted, they remain conscious, and anything affected can be returned to normal with a simple counterspell. However, if any of the coins are more than 5ft from the main pile, they will remain as coins permanently, and the victim may find bits of themselves missing because of this. The consciousness of the target, if applicable, will remain with the largest group of coins if any are separated. While in this form, the victim determines the outcomes of any coinflips made with their coins. If the victim is returned to normal, but not all coins are present, they can still affect the outcome of coinflips made with those coins, but only while they’re in sight, and with a 10% chance to fail.
The Little Eyes: Vicious Mockery
These green eyes on small stalks around the head can afflict targets with minor psychic damage via something similar to Vicious Mockery. They send telepathic insults to the target’s mind directly, so being able to hear isn’t necessary for the attack to work. Wisdom save roll to halve the damage, Crit Fail has the added effect of making subsequent attacks hurt more, and Crit Success makes the target immune to further uses of this ability until their next rest.
Misc. Abilities:
Gaseous Emmissions:
The Behoppper can expel great amounts of gas from within itself through its mouth, or its three anuses. This can either result in lingering gas clouds that will inflict poison damage on anyone who remains within them, or it can be used to forcefully shove things away. The gas can also be lit on fire, burning anything caught in the flames.
Acid Ball:
The Behoppper can launch a ball of its magically imbued stomach acids up to 20ft away. Anything struck by this acid is immediately converted into a gaseous form akin to the lingering clouds of gas made by the previous ability. Any person affected by this remains concious and can move their gaseous form around slowly. The effect can be reversed by a simple counterspell, unless the victim is set ablze in which case they will die.
Spoils of Battle:
Behoppper’s Giant Buck Teeth:
Highly sought after for being nigh indestructible, and are easily converted into very effective shields.
Behoppper’s Eye Goo:
The slime from any of the Behoppper’s eyes can be used to make a potion that will imbue that eye’s effect on any person the potion touches. A potion made from the Main Eye will have a 50% chance to grant Good or Bad Luck. The dilution of a potion made with the Beard Eyes will determine which of its effects occurs.
Behoppper’s Stomach Acid:
Can only be held in a container that is resistant to magical effects., otherwise it will turn the container to gas immediately upon contact. Otherwise it makes for an extremely dangerous splash grenade.
