Small Rant

So, normally I wouldn't post things on here....but I felt the need to just rant about an issue I had with an artist. Basically, as an artist, it's understandable you have the right to refuse a commission if you don't want to take it, be it an issue with what they want, or an overly detailed character being drawn. However, if the issue is personal between you and a person, it's very much understandable if you choose to refuse to accept it, but it is rather unprofessional if you then tack on a passive aggressive little diatribe against the person whom you dislike as to why you refused it, regardless as to weather it's a simple one worded response or a small statement. When you let personal issues get in the way of your work, it becomes a waste of time and a waste of energy if you choose to allow whatever issue you had with that person to continue on in your business practices, and it is rather condemning of one's self image as well to do so. So, if you don't want to accept work from someone be it for personal reasons, that's fine and dandy, but don't start letting personal issues seep into your work as well.

(sorry, saw your bio and couldn't help it...it is one of my favourite songs.)
