hey friends ^^ so... it's been a while. way longer than I hoped it would be and for that I'm super sorry.

I like to be transparent about things, so: I have a severe depressive disorder (among other things) and have done for about 15 years -- but in spring of 2024, it became treatment resistant. Severely treatment resistant. I've been doing everything I can possibly think of the past year -- I've tried 10+ medications now, I went into hospital for almost 2 months, I tried 10 rounds of electroconvulsive therapy (where they put you under anaesthesia and induce a seizure -- modern electroshock therapy, basically) but it wasn't successful. I've been trying ketamine therapy now as well, but it's so expensive (although the good news is I should be able to join a trial study later in late autumn, which means less costs!)

Point is, nothing is really working. I'm functional right now, but not much more. I can get out of bed and sometimes I can eat, but then I'm out of bed and can't do anything with myself. I'm so disconnected from all my hobbies and everything, including drawing. I'm also unable to work my IRL jobs right now (usually I balance two IRL jobs and two branches of art jobs), so money is an issue as well. It's all just a lot.
(for this reason, I'm going to drop my links -- please forgive me, but times are tough;;; patreon sees a lot more activity than FA right now but I'm trying to change that, too! I want my art to be accessible to everyone and not behind a paywall... it's just hard to get much done right now besides sketches.) patreon/ tips/donations

I'm trying really hard to get back here and be more active. I love creating for all of you and want to do more of it, I'm just going through it really badly >_<
