So it's been a pretty crappy year, but we're now past the halfway point! Since the world hasn't ended yet, I figured I would try something out for you watchers of mine. If you want a short story or something written up, let's say... 5k words? Drop a comment with a number below. I'll give it three days and then use a random generator to pull out four of those numbers. Each person picked out can shoot me some refs and the basic idea they want, and I'll whip something up for them over a week or so per story.

I'm pretty aware there's not a lot of examples in my submissions, but we all need to start somewhere right? So for those who want to try, best of luck on the draw. For those who don't, well, we'll have to see if this can become a monthly draw or not if you want it again next month.

I suppose the only rules I can really say are comment once per person with a number, and that I'll post a follow-up journal for the winner(s) once drawn announcing who got a place.
