My name is BartTheSock, but you can call me Brandon. I have a YouTube channel, and I like Pokémon, Super Mario, Kirby, and various cartoons and comics. I also like to draw comics and cartoons of my own, and I like to watch YouTube.

Ethan Against the Universe Hiatus + (Minor) Rework
6 days ago
I posted the first page of my webcomic "Ethan Against the Universe" to the Internet on April 27, 2025. Then I posted the second page on June 12, 2025. Then four months passed without a single update, and here we are.
I deleted both pages of my webcomic off the Internet, but I have NO intentions of letting it die. I want the comic to be as good as it can possibly be, and if that means I have to write it as a web serial first (like I did with the original version of the story), then that's what I'll do.
Just know that I won't release the web serial for "Ethan Against the Universe" until I've finished writing and rewriting the first volume. Once I begin to post the first volume chapter by chapter, I'll feel far more comfortable making comics based on the web serial, rather than the original plan to just draw comics when I feel like it and also wing each comic as I write them. This way I don't have to worry about accidentally writing plot holes or something, which I honestly can't stand.
On a side note, I'm challenging myself to seriously cut down on how much video games I play, mainly because I've noticed over the years that the more video games I play every day, the less creative I feel. I don't know what that's about, but the plan I have is to minimize video game consumption and offset it with reading, drawing comics, and doing things that will actually improve my mental health in the long run in order to not only maximize creative output, but also be a more well-rounded person overall.
I have no idea when I'll release the first chapter of "Ethan Against the Universe", let alone when I'll release the first page of the respective comic, but it will definitely be someday. I can't say WHICH day, but it will be SOME day.
