(Follow-up to saying I'll no longer be posting here - which I won't.)
Reason for ceasing uploads
FurAffinity is a dying site that's pretty much plateaued in user population at least half a decade ago. It's a pain in the ass to post here, and considering my gallery backlog isn't large after the 2023 purge, there's not much point keeping it up to date. (Along with the fact submissions have to be <1280px anyway or whatever, so it's not like it's even a good archive.)
To be honest, I wasn't going to say anything and was just going to log out, but considering how long I have actively kept this gallery up to date I felt the need to at least inform people. I didn't expect to wake up to people arguing about the legality of pretending to be babies during sex.
Twitter
Right now, as of writing this, Twitter is the only site I have linked besides Patreon simply because it's where the bulk of my following is. That isn't something I have control over, and I have no reason to jump ship from it when it's still the most regularly used platform for art at the moment.
Inkbunny
No, I'm not posting to Inkbunny. That site is equally (if not more) dead. I don't know why it got brought up in the thread, besides people equating cub to babyfurs. It's also more of a pain in the ass to upload to with how slow its uploading is and its more involved tagging system.
But what about Bluesky? Itaku?? Newgrounds??? Pillowfort?????
Again, the entire reason I'm not using this site is because it's annoying to post to and not many people use it... So why bother myself using other sites used by even less people that, and (in some cases) are even more annoying to post to.
Here's what it comes down to.
Art is a secondary thing in my life at this point, arguably ever since Tailbound came out. Worrying about where I post that art and running a gauntlet of different websites it has to be uploaded to is draining. You want a full gallery of my stuff? Well FurAffinity certainly wouldn't be the place for it considering they've changed what's even allowed on the site at least five times since I signed up. e621 would've been a nice place for fans to archive my work, but just like the previous journal's comments, politics that have nothing to do with art somehow shoehorned their way into it and fucked it up for everyone.
I have over 800 pieces of art spread across 9 years. Not including games, comics, and other projects. There's no easy one-size-fits-all solution for that. Sorry that politics got me nuked off e621. Sorry that FurAffinity can't make up its mind on what is or isn't cub. (But pretending to be a three year old is perfectly heccing valid. If you think otherwise, you're a bigot.) It isn't likely that there will ever be a full online catalog of my work ever again, as all these years I'd banked on e6 being an archive. FA was never something I really treated or thought of that way, considering how much worse its tagging and browsing is.
Compromise
I saw it brought up a few times, so I decided it would be a fair compromise to at least upload my work to a new Telegram group. (Since it's not hard to do) And since people are saying they want a 'full archive' of my work, I suppose I'll upload everything to it. It's not good in terms of organization, but neither is FA.

Plus the reasoning feels kind of flimsy.
That's funny coming from a guy who has drawn cub porn for years https://iwiftp.yerf.org/Furry/Art/I.....ts/Carpetwurm/
