Those first couple months, I had to endure the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Seeing you go from a hyper bouncing machine to a box on our table was heart-wrenching.
But I'm doing a little better now.
I'm about to leave for Japan for a little over two weeks. I really wanted to see how excited you got after I came back. You always greeted us with a real smile when we got home.
PS- I don't like Duke.
It's amazing that after two and a half months, I can still cry as hard as the first day.
I miss you so so very much.
We have a new dog named Duke. He's friendly, and I like him, but he's not you. I just want to hug you again.
