Caprinae: The subfamily Caprinae, also sometimes referred to as the tribe Caprini, is part of the ruminant family Bovidae, and consists of mostly medium-sized bovids.

Caprine: relating to or resembling goats. I identify more with Sheep, which would be Ovine.

Ovines belong to the Caprinae family but are not caprines. This is very simple and straightforward, I should've known it sooner but instead I made this account without giving the name much thought beyond "Hey, alliteration!"
