Hello there! I'm glad you stumbled upon my userpage. I'm Dragontzin, but you can call me TZIN. As you can see from my gallery, I am a fat furry enthusiast, so you'll find a lot of pics and stories related with that topic in there. You are welcome to go take a look if you please.
I try to be pretty friendly, so if you want to say hi, go ahead. I am always looking forward to make new friends. I promise I won't bite... unless of course you're a taco. In that case I you'd better run.
I am proudly MEXICAN, an eager reader, a Chemical Engineering, and a rookie artist/writer, always hoping to get better at what I do. Thanks for taking the time to read this brief description of me. Have an excellent day.

FURRY CALENDAR

FURRY CALENDAR
This is the result of your contributions to create a collective calendar with dates, events and celebrations that might be relevant for furries. Thank you so much for sending your ideas. I could not include all of the submissions, but that doesn't mean you can't add your own celebration. This is only meant to be a first approach! Feel free to extend the festivities, and even create your own!
The link will lead you to either a Web-viewable version or to a downloadable Goolge Calendar with more than 170 celebrations. If you choose to add these events to your calendar, they will become their own set, called "Furry Calendar", which you can toggle on and off. If you only care about certain dates, after adding the calendar, duplicate the specific event(s) into your calendar, andthen disable/delete the furry calendar.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Why are there no month celebrations?
I deliberately chose not to include month celebrations. This is why:
- I am not here to be the arbiter of what is or isn't valid. I'm just a random dragon on the internet. For all I care, all of them are valid and worthy of celebrating!
- There is a greater chance that you will find out about a month-long event than for single-day festivities. Even if you find out halfway through the month, you can still participate. And by all means, do!
- It is unfair to species / characters / events who only have a celebrations that lasts 24 hours.
- Finding precedents and history for month-long celebrations is difficult and becomes hard to pin-point.
This does not mean that I am against month celebrations! Let's keep participating in all these fun and quirky collective events!
2. What kind of celebrations are in the calendar?
This is meant to be a tool for everyone in the furry community. Thus, the priority was fiven to internationally observed events.
Most of the celebrations have a clear precedent, and have a history of being shared festivities with an international scope. Only in the case of endemic or endangered species, an exemption was granted on national days to spread awareness for such efforts.
Pride Celebrations for everyone on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum were included.
3. Is that the official date for all these days?
Not so fast! Most of them are linked to a numer date, but a handful are tied to the day of the week, so they will shift from year to year.
Therianthropy day is the only date that is linked to the lunar calenar. It happens on the full moon of November. The next five years (2025-2030) are already covered.
4. I don't see my dog/cat breed's day-
It was deliberate, You can be very proud of the kind of dog or cat (or horse) you chose for yourself. They are gorgeous!
But the practive of perpetuating purebreeds causes real harm and health issues to these animals in real life. And some of the Instruments that promote the existence of certain breeds have dicey histories, controversies, or opaque motives.
Instead let's celebrate all dogs on August 26th, and all cats on August 8th.
5.Where is my favourite Pokemon / Digimon?
I am neither an expert nor a hardcore fan. I did not dive into this rabbit hole. I tried to include the most popular ones. Forgive me If I missed any: finding consistent and reliable sources was hard. Sometimes these dates matches the Pokédex entry, sometimes it is a play on words in Japanese, sometimes it's just because...
6. Can I still send a date to be added?
I don't want to become a gate-keeper. Maybe if there is an event I forgot, I'll consider adding it. But I don't want to get requests to include dates. You go ahead and add it!
7. How can I find other people posting about an event I care about?
You will find, on the description of each event, one or more tags (#hashtags) that are proposed to connect those celebrating a particular cause.
Be mindful! Some of these tags are for the general public so make sure to post them with the appropriate content warning labels. Otherwise post them under a more specific hashtag.
Some people have proposed the following scheme:
#BowserDay --> (SFW)
#BowserNight --> (NSFW)
we can use the same principle (Day/Night) to indicate (SFW/NSFW) for any date!
8. This was a lot of work. How can I thank you for making this calendar?
USE IT! Have fun! Add more dates! Make it yours! That is all I ask!
Thank you very much for being part of this!
