I'm steady working on my newest story. I had to start and restart it three times due to an indecision on my part on how it should be written. I started with first person, then went with third person, changed again to first person from two people's point of view and finally went back to first person. It's a story of a human who contracts a deadly virus and is put into stasis until a cure can be found. Unfortunately for him, it takes 20,000 years to find the virus. During his time in stasis, the human species totters on the brink of extinction until the creation of a new humanoid species. This species is created by splicing human and non-ungulate, land mammal DNA. The new species is called humanimal and look like fur covered humans with animal heads. All non-ungulate land mammals were used including marsupials and monotremes (platypus and echidna). The different species are now different races due to the fact that they can, and do, interbreed. When I start to upload this story, I do hope that everyone will read and enjoy it.

Story Update

I've finally figured out how I want the next chapter to go. However, to make it work properly, I've got to edit the previous chapter so make it work the way I want it to. To edit the previous chapter, I'm going to be taking the first 2 or 3 pages of the current chapter and add them to the previous one. I won't do this until the upcoming weekend. When I make the change, I'll post another journal letting everyone know that they can re-read the previous chapter to know what's going on. Thanks for your patience with me on my writer's block and making the necessary update.
