Howdy all!

This year, I would like to do something that I've often thought about doing, but never actually committed to before - NaNoWriMo!

Now, I'm aware they went under as an official thing, and I'm not fully aware of the details other than some not great things were happening with the actual group behind NaNo, but the core concept has always held an allure for me -> write a novel of at least 50,000 words in a month. As I understand the old rules, this was intended to be a new project for the author, in that they may have had the idea, but hadn't actually put pen to page yet.

Well, my last journal's idea about the Tiny Princess and Her Mighty Dragon fits that bill quite nicely! It's the skeleton of a concept, but I have done exactly zero writing for it apart from the description I wrote for the journal xD So I'd like to take this November to finally try the Novel-in-a-month challenge for myself, using that story as my springboard!

What does that mean for my request content? It's going to be paused this month. You guys are more than welcome to submit and discuss requests during this time, as that will just add it to my existing queue. There's two requests in the pipeline that I've already juggled around enough in my head that I might squeeze them in this month as well, but I make no promises. I'd like November to be a chance for me to unabashedly dedicate myself to a brand new book, so that's where my priority will lie. Any request content will likely only happen if I need a break from the novel.

I'm not sure yet how formatting is going to work, but I will probably post chapters of this project as I have them. Beyond that, expect requests to resume in full force in December! And if you're participating in the Novel-in-a-month challenge, best of luck to you and happy writing!! <3
