2026 Update (G)
👋👋👋
I've been active under my new alias, which you should check out if you're into what I did as FAYYET. I'm still dabbling with trance production, but my energy is focused on combining trance-like energy and harder styles & techno. Techno has been a massive source of inspiration and it's a no-brainer for me to continue pursuing this new sound I really love.
I've had some massive personal gains, with a new cushy apartment, relatively stable employment, and my personal life is much more stable than it was years prior. So expect more from me in 2026.

I considered making a big "10 years of FAYYET" post that I ultimately decided not to, as writing music had up until the last 8 months was actively painful for me. Despite dealing with objectively unfair circumstances, I nonetheless had a horrible habit of dwelling on the negative & refusing to embrace the positives. Sitting in Ableton & just jamming out is one of my favorite things on earth, and despite all the complications life throws my way, I wish I had just *enjoyed* myself a little more.
Despite the obvious shortcomings I had as an self-taught producer, truthfully I'm really proud the music I made. The early years, from 2010-2015 especially, were this really magical period for me when I was learning how all this shit worked with nearly no help, and no real understanding of how dance music, or trance, really worked. I was throwing all these influences in a blender & producing some wacky stuff.
There was a rawness to the music I was creating that I can't quite describe. I doubt I'll ever be able to recapture that style again.
What's unfortunate is that, by going through my old comments, I can clearly see how insecure & self-deprecating I was. I put myself through needless heartache, holding myself to unobtainable standards when I could have been simply enjoying the ride of learning production & creating music.
I'm really grateful for all you guys who followed me throughout the years & listened to my stuff. I'm glad you enjoyed what I made!
✨That's all I got for now✨

As a side note, I will be removing my tracks from streaming services; you can find the stuff I made on Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
