Hello Everyone Feral-Fluff here! Don't be afraid to message me or just say Hi. I love meeting new people and am always open for commissions and art trades so just ask. I'm a slime blob through and through, just ask my baby Tobias. I love role playing and cold pizza.
I do both traditional and digital art and also a bit of writing on the side. Be on the look out for some silly or dramatic short stories. I love doing small skits between my sonas and my friend's.

Basikisk Eel Clans
Upon making my manner royal eel Totumire a whole world grew inside my head of where he lived and how things operated. I wanted each species of eel to live in different regions and interact among themselves. So I give you the clans types, which eels live where, their generic behavior and of course information about Riders!
My eel's deisgn was approved by
MissYazriel and I am a member of the Basilisk eel group.
The species, and reference base sheet belongs to
MissYazriel , all I did was color it in.
For the people of earth things have changed after the discovery of the behemoth beings known as Basilisk Eels. For decades people have coexisted with these beings respecting their laws and creating bonds with eels willing to bind their lives with those of mortals. Humans are no longer top of the food chain. Many have created large towns, where they grow their own food, trade with others and create advancements in technology. But there are other civilizations of humans ruled by eels that have established themselves as kings/queens. There are types of eel colonies: Abyssal, in-landers, tide-riders, and ‘the bonded.’ Though each clan is made up of their own subspecies of eels, each keeping majority to their own clan. It is still possible to find outsider species among rival clans. Travelers, and riders are welcome guest, but they must be knowledgeable and abide by the set of rule each clan possess. This also applies to male or female outsides that choose to join their mate by abandoning their native tribe and settling down among that of their mate.
King eels are found among every clan. They are the rulers that govern each clan and are on constant alert from invading forces or rising issues among their clan. Even those that reign over clans with members all over the globe are well updated on growing tensions between rival clans, humans and of course internal issues. Each king has a large amount of royal subjects that are tasked with constant surveillance of everything and anything.
Abyssal- Mythical, Sweepers, Standard, and Maned Royals
These individuals tend to live in large cities built on the ocean floor. Thanks to the cold water and proximity to the radioactivity that is leaked out through vents eels that live here grow larger than average, are strong and live longer than those of other clans, but they are prone mutations. The city is in constant darkness but thanks to bioluminescence plankton and algae the cities are bright, alive, and bustling. Each eel that lives in these cities has a title, be it healer, hunter, artisan, or warrior. Then there are the eels that enjoy to live alone, fending for themselves and creating a home of their own. Their diet consist of seal life and vegetation found or farmer on the ocean floor. Rarer items or those no native to this region are obtained through trading. In average eels that reside in this region tend to be secretive and hostile.
In-landers- Guppy, and Wet sloth
Eels that choose to live in this clan live in rivers and lakes. Individuals tend to live by themselves or in small groups depending on the size of the body of water they reside in. Large in size these eels tend to be smaller in size compared to others. They coexist well with humans openly trading with them or working alongside them to share labor and resources. Member of this clan are more likely to bond with humans but not always. In-landers tend to be strong, hard workers, that are friendly and open to trades among humans and other eels. They take pride in their homes often hoarding workers of art or precious stones to display their power and importance. A huge negative trait members of this clan tend to display is a high sense of possessiveness. They don’t mind helping others but will expect something back in return and most of all; what is theirs is theirs, not to share or to lend but only theirs.
Tide-riders- Thin Thistle, Tropical, Serpentes
Rarely seen these eels are known for traveling around the world. They have settlements on nearly all landmasses. These settlements are almost always on or near the water and at times are guarded by only a single male and female that are tasked with guarding the settlement and watching the young. Clans usually range from 5 to 10 individuals each having their own title. Majority remaining on land during the spring and early summer seasons, tide-riders leaving during the late summer seasons and travel the world throughout winter and fall. Fast swimmers, strong and wise they happily trade with humans but will rarely allow humans to remain for more than a couple weeks among their settlements. Due to near constant traveling eels from this clan are constantly running into other clans, riders and ships. Throughout history members of this clan were famous for sinking ships and drowning sailors whom drew too close to their homes. Tide-riders are calm and curious. They are willing to help any living creature their migration comes across during their travels. Though upon sensing their generosity is being taken advantage of their temper flares and their anger is known for causing typhoons and whirlpools.
‘The Bonded’- Eels that have bonded with humans as riders.
These eels are of all types and can come from any clan. Before a human can become a true rider and travel alongside their eel throughout the open seas. They must learn or at least possess an understanding of each clan’s rules, customs and dialect. Once bonded, humans will be able to breath underwater and their bodies will be tolerable to the extreme temperature changes and pressure required to visit each region. This does have limits. No rider may permanently reside among the abyssal region!
