Old-School cartoon wildlife and fantasy artist turned Video Game QA Tester here.
Instead of talking all about myself, I'd like to explain that while there are many fine submissions to Fur Affinity, I only choose one favorite per week. The reason for this is that rather than instantly burying a favorite under a dozen more faves, I like to have people that visit my page actually get to see something special that I like, and let it remain in the spotlight for a full week before selecting another.
So if you're an artist and I put you on my buddy list, but don't 'fave' any of your submissions straight away, don't despair! I'm just as likely to fave a two year old piece as I am to fave something submitted an hour ago. Who knows, next week it may be YOUR turn to have one of your pieces be my 'Favorite of the Week!' ^_^
Do you like classic animated cartoons (i.e. before there was CGI)? If so, check out my journals -- I've got links to literally dozens of great clips, both familiar and obscure.
Like comics? Here are quick shortcuts to the first pages of my longest continued comic book-type stories: The Familiar Contest, The Wolfglen Incident and Of Weasels and Women.

For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not believe, no explanation will suffice.
"Speaking of wishes, you know what I never understood? Genies! They tell you to wish for anything you want and then they add some terrible twist. Like you wish to jump high so he turns you into a frog. Why? Who gains from this? The genie? Where's the benefit? You should be fighting genies, man, not me. I'm not the problem; genies - genies are the problem."
-Doofenshmirtz rambles on to Perry the Platypus
Dr. D: Ugh! You ever try to sue a genie?

Cartoon Memorial -- Gary Owens
As some of you already know, famous voice actor and comedian Gary Owens died yesterday. Most people knew of him only from "Laugh-In," while some of us fondly remember him as the voice of Roger Ramjet, the original Space Ghost, Blue Falcon, Powdered Toast Man, Dirk Niblick of the Math Brigade and many others.
Personally, I loved his vocal contributions to the earliest seasons of Sesame Street:

I is for Impolite:

K is For Kangaroo:

Gary's regular voice in all of the above is instantly recognizable, of course. But did you know that he also did trick voices? One famous example that nobody knows Gary did was the voice of the guy doing the rocket countdown in every one of these classic Sesame Street segments:

And here's nearly all the rest of them:

God bless you, Gary -- you made us laugh even when we didn't know it was you...
