If you're reading this: hello, hope you're doing well today... you just that bored or did you misclick? If you're looking for quality, I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place. Sorry about that.
Poor jokes aside, there's not a lot to say; I'm genuinely not a very interesting person. That's not the low self esteem talking, I just lead an incredibly mundane life. In brief: quite possibly the most socially inept twat on the face of the earth pretending to be creative.
It took me a while to work up the nerve to actually start posting but, with a little support, I eventually managed. Now I'm having fun writing dumb stories and making low quality pixel art gifs. Didn't really expect it out of me but I never knew that having an imagination was this entertaining either.
All in all, thanks for stopping by. Regardless of whether you like what you see or not, it means a lot.

Previous segment of "Dead is Bored...": https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10871177/
First things first: here's hoping everyone had a great 2024 and I wish a great 2025 to all.
With new year's greeting out of the way, the next section of this journal is meant to be a list of shout outs to some artists/writers/musicians that I've found and thoroughly enjoyed the works of.
Before I begin like normal, a huge congratulations to the following authors for having published their own novels:
(AKA Mekanip) - "A Chronicle of Lies - The Dark Sculptor" : I've actually shouted out this novel a number of times but it has been a thoroughly enjoyable and beautifully crafted experience. In brief, a mostly normal college student is simply going about his life as the winter holidays draw near when disaster strikes. After an unexpected incident on his way home, he awakens in a new world and in a body that isn't his own. Nothing about the experience makes any sense to the unfortunate young man but unlike anyone else in such a situation, he attributes the whole experience to his schizophrenia that has basically dominated his life since he was a child.

- "Dreamers of the Sea" : Ever the dreamer, a young fox manages to slip away from his father to pursue his ambition of living out on the sea. Unfortunately, the life of a sailor isn't quite how the fox imagined things being and it is up to his father to pull him out of the water.

- "Work 'Fur' Hire" : This is one is actually a self-help book for anyone looking for tips and tricks on how to more effectively approach job hunting. Although the majority makes up Edwin's professional advice, he actually reached out to users here on FA to drum up a number of fun short stories to help make some points he elaborates on over the course of the book.

Once again, congratulations to the above authors on their success. The following shout outs go out to a number of writers that I've been keeping up with.
&
- the full "The Erlandia" saga : A riveting set of adventures aboard a steam ship across the Atlantic. Of the three books, I have a hard time deciding whether one or two was my favorite as one really sets the stage where two goes into an interesting quest for vengeance. However, upon reflection, the last few chapters of book three involve an exhilarating naval battle that had me sunk in through to the end. Honestly, it is just difficult to decide a favorite book of the three as they are each their own exciting and engaging experience in their own right.
Full collection of books found on
's page, link to chapter one of book one: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37770952/
- "Exodimensional Hoofbun Flopsy" (ongoing) : set in the same universe as their "Princess Tells Her Story" (ongoing), Flopsy is a living construct built on Terra and transported to Earth with no way home. Trying to gather her bearings, Flopsy observes that Earth can be just as dangerous as Terra and begins moonlighting as a hero that comes to be known as The Superbunny. While I think I myself enjoy the overall story to Princess more, Flopsy is still a thoroughly engaging story that I'm eagerly awaiting more of.

- "The Diary of a Witch Hunter" : written as part of Zak's New Novel November challenge (of which I attempted and failed miserably with slightly adjusted goals). Follows a demon who goes by Sulmir looking to simply settle down in the city of Khorogard. Unfortunately, modern living is a bit difficult to adjust to and even then, demons struggle to fight back against their calling and Sulmir's just so happens to be witch hunting.

And now, a list of authors I've met through the
that I enjoy along with my personal favorite piece they've done thus far.

Next up are a list of musicians that I've found and tend to listen to while reading posted stories. I will admit, the head bopping does add a slight challenge to reading especially considering I already wear glasses but what can you do?
- composes a lot of EDM pieces that are quite the jam.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/57955737/
- an absolute master of the piano but does so much more with their works and even sings some of them.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/10411384/
Also for personal nostalgia: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/9037099/
- similar to Aride above, works primarily with the EDM genre but also has some more serene and calmer pieces.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52922738/
- works on a little bit of everything it seems and I wouldn't think their work out of place in a video game soundtrack or as part of a movie's background track during more intense action scenes.

Lastly but certainly not least are a collection of artists that I've found and thoroughly enjoy the work of.
- positively stunning scene work with immaculate attention to detail.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45388675/
- an incredible pixel artist capable of things that I could only dream of for my attempts.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/57721102/
- supremely talented sculptor.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44243270/
- plentiful, skillfully drawn fox sketches.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59103349/
- comics, stickers, ref sheets, and some extraordinary illustrations with a penchant for dragons.
PF: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43591652/
- an impressive artist and a very pleasant individual to chat with too.

And that concludes this brief list of users I would like to shout out this time. Please, if you have the time, do consider checking them out as I do genuinely find each's hard work and dedication to their own craft impressive, admirable, and well deserving of other's attention.
With all that said and done, I'd like to wish everyone a happy new years once again. Here's hoping that 2025 treats everyone well and we'll all get to do this whole round of yearly greetings in (at the time of drafting this) 364 days.
Feeling lazy but somewhat entertained now,
