I LIVE (and what I did)

Hey y'all! Just wanted to say that I'm still alive and kicking and have been up to a lot of stuff outside of FA, which is why I haven't been posting too much here lately.
First off, I've been up to, like, a looooot of game dev stuff (and particularly a loooot of wacky shader work). Mostly independent/personal things that have yet to see the light of day, but also a couple of things you can check out and play right now!
In July, I worked on a collaborative project titled Yo! Noid II and I'm really proud of what we managed to accomplish together. Also we are not affiliated with Domino's Pizza Incorporated, this is a game by Noid fans, FOR Noid fans.
You can get Yo! Noid II here: http://noid.pizza/

In December, for Ludum Dare 40, a couple of us Noid boys got together and made a small game titled Breakpoint. I busted my ass doing some overly ambitious shader wizardry over the weekend and would downright say it's some of the most ambitious code I've written to date. I'm still working on a future performance update because of one really complex behind-the-scenes pipeline, but it should work fine on most modern computers. Be warned, however, since there are a lot of flashy colors and such, so please be careful if you're prone to that.
You can get Breakpoint here: https://quadezaban.itch.io/breakpoint
I've also been up to a lot of experimental computer graphics/shader things and have been posting a ton on my main Twitter if any of you haven't followed that. https://twitter.com/ompuco
I'm also currently available for freelance Unity 3D shader programming & technical artistry work, so if anyone knows of a developer in their community in need of a shadersheep like me, feel free to hit me up and make chitchat!
That's all for now. I'm going to try my darndest to post more good boys (and girls and other things) here soon, I just didn't want to keep everyone in the dark about what I've been busy with all year long.
I promise I won't be another year before the next journal!
