If you haven't heard, recently Itch io and Steam were strong-armed into removing thousands of adult titles from their storefronts, at the behest of payment processing companies like Paypal, Stripe, Mastercard, and VISA - who themselves received pressure from small groups of christo-fascist weirdos. (Note: My own stuff included. It's still delisted from itch io search as of now.)

A simple realization, that we outnumber these weirdos by orders of magnitude, has spawned into a massive campaign to disrupt payment processors' business until their censorious policy is reversed.

It needs to be said that sex workers have been sounding the alarm on censorship from payment processors and credit card companies for decades, and these companies have been allowed to get away with ripping away people's livelihoods for just as long. But sex workers and adult content creators alike are also saying that momentum like this has *never* been seen before. Articles are being written in mainstream publications about the censorship, Valve put out a statement clarifying exactly how their hand was forced, and VISA and Mastercard are both cracking under the pressure. The pressure has been sustained for a week, but we need to go much longer.

Something was unlocked in my head when I first tried roleplaying a confused consumer on the phone, politely but insistently asking why I can't buy the games I wanted to buy with my own money - I stopped being so scared of the situation because it became more of a game. The goal is to keep customer reps on the phone as long as possible to disrupt business (while remaining polite), so your time on a call is like your high score - calling multiple companies and sending physical letters add to your score too.

I tried gamifying this on Bluesky last week by offering free sketches to anyone that could beat my score that day (and got 3 victors!), but I've been thinking about "drives" I could run like a couple other artists are doing too. So far I've considered:

- Dusty chastity drive: cumulative call time = Dusty's time locked up. Might be a bit too niche though.
- Dusty milking drive: Each goal met = one orgasm, further goals bringing in other OCs to help
- Janelle strip drive: Like other arists are doing, each goal met = article of clothing removed
Note: I'm not considering WG drives because it's not my thing. But let me know if there's another idea you have!
