I don't even know how to start that

So, yesterday I lost one of my rats, Hayata, in a post-op complication. It was the worst pet loss I've experienced - and, as I've kept pet rats since 2017, I've had a lot of losses. He was relatively young (only 10 months old) and also we are accessing how to take care of Dan (his remaining brother),

As you imagine, that came with a lot of veterinary expenses too. And this month I got only 2/5 of the expected commissions (I'm totally grateful to the people that got the slots!). Maybe it is just a slow month, and even if last year was nice in terms of commissions I know it is a kinda unstable job (but, well, I don't see any alternative for the moment... this is one more depressive talk for another day). So, if you can share stuff around, that would help a lot!

I really want to thank the people that are * still * around, you are the world for me. I still want to bring a bit of joy to people and animals around me (even if I can't see anything sparkling joy myself, right now).

I'll be slowly answering the messages and reviewing the form requests. This week, we are trying to find new cagemates for Dan. We got a foster yesterday, but we are still trying to find rattos closer to his age, so I'll be very occupied.

Plus, trauma of losing Hayata, ofc.
