Hello everyone, to those of you still following me in some capacity. It's been quite the year, though I'm aware I haven't given any updates or uploaded anything new throughout the whole year. I figure I should give a small update at the very least.

For starters, I'm still not quite feeling like taking back on any new art, so if any of you feel you should unwatch me, that's understandable. My motivation for drawing has been pretty much non-existent and instead I've been more invested in hanging out with my friends over discord and also a few furry streamers, to the point a lot of my free time goes to that. The rest has been playing games and going through my backlog. So apologies for not really doing any more art.

In terms of my life, work has been a bit more challenging this year. It's been nearly 3 years now since I got hired for my first job and I'm still going. My responsibilities in it have been increasing and I've been taking the projects for a couple people who either left or needed to relieve their own duties to focus on other things. It culminated in me needing to move my vacation from chirstmas to the 2nd week of this month. In general, it's been parts very stressful, parts very rewarding. I feel I've also started to get a little better in being around more social people (or at least masking well enough). So in a sense, I've gained a lot of personal experience thanks to work.

At the same time, this is the year I've felt at my weakest mentally. Starting with a full panic attack out of nowhere back in February, followed by a bunch of drama and some attempts to do the right thing blowing up in my face. I've also dealt with the fallout of a couple other people, at the very least one who I thought left and when they came back, I had to learn to keep my feelings in check so I didn't get very passive aggressive when they talked.

There's a bunch other things, but I don't want to make this journal a bummer to read, so I'll just say, a lot of this stuff has helped me in some way too. I have become a little more honest with myself (though sometimes I go too far and end self-deprecating myself too much), and I feel I've learned to deal with people better, without hurting myself in the process.

But especially, this year I've strengthened my bond with a bunch of my friends, becoming even closer as a result. As well as meeting some new ones that we managed to connect way quicker than I was even expecting. I do feel my close circle is already tight enough that I don't need to seek out anyone else for a long time. I'm grateful to have met these people and I hope our friendship goes strong for a while.

So now we're starting a new year. Let's hope this one goes just a little better than the last at least.
