I moved again
We live out in the country now. 5 acres. Currently leasing from my gramma with the intent to buy when she passes away. Technically we're "caretakers" while she's in a nursing home. Back where I grew up, it's nice. And we managed to get triple what we bought our house for when selling...so currently debt free. Feels nice. We'll have a mortgage again one day but it will be manageable.
Kiddo is 2.5, walking, talking, and knows a lot of her preschool skills already. Starting "formal" homeschooling next year. :)
Took a bit to get Starlink hooked up but we even have high speed internet out here. I'll have to share some pictures of the woods, it's absolutely gorgeous where we live. The dog looooves all the property. He does charge the chicken coop though so I need to work on training.
The best part is definitely having two bathrooms, haha. The rest is super nice too. My only gripe is we have a dude on our road who has a cannon he loads with tannerite and shoots sometimes, and I haven't gotten to see it yet! I am a redneck at heart, I just wanna see things explode once in a while.
We joke that we're taking over the "family estate" it's kind of accurate?
I have a craft room again. Maybe when kiddo is past her current phase (toddler dropping her daytime nap so needs extra attention) I can get back to drawing and sewing. Crochet is the easiest to put down if needed. :) plus it's very comfortable for me.
