Here's an introduction to toyhou.se and it's features, if this is your first time hearing of it!
toyhou.se? It's a really handy site (although fairly new, a little over a year old now I think) focused on characters! The things it offers include:
Character storage and organization.
- Unlimited pages for characters.
- Folders and subfolders (haven't discovered a limit to subfolders yet) to organize characters into
- the ability to tag your characters, and a search function for your characters (I don't believe there is a site-wide search function yet, could be wrong)
- Each character gets their own page complete with:
--- a gallery, with intricate privacy options including "auto generated watermarked versions of images with custom watermarks" (see in 'privacy' section below) Image size restriction is 2000x2000 however (I could be wrong on this)
--- a comments section for the character!
--- a links section, which allows you to link characters together and describe their relationships
--- a flexible profile section that offers customization fields and/or a fully customize-able text section (with unlimited text characters, as far as I'm aware)
--- an ownership page that allows you to credit the creator(s) of the design, and offers owners who also have a toyhou.se account to edit the permissions of the design, specifying if the design is allowed to be sold/gifted/traded and provides a text field for specific rules/terms. The ownership page provides a level of security against scamming!
--- the ability to change the entire look of your profile and separate pages using HTML/CSS
- The ability to transfer characters to other users with the entire profile including ownership page in tact.
- The ability to make world profiles, and categorize characters into different worlds! More below under social

Intricate privacy options including:
- Disallowing people to follow/watch your account (if you are strictly using the site for personal use and do not want company, or just want complete privacy)
- Specifying who can view each individual character (any person, authorized people only, or just yourself)
- Specifying who can view each individual image, and what version of the image they will be able to see (full sized, thumbnail, watermarked)
- Auto-generated versions of images that are watermarked, you can also create your own custom watermarks for the site to use! I personally have a few different watermarks, so I can use different ones in different situations (ex. white watermark on very dark image, dark watermark on lighter image)

Social options, besides your characters being view-able and organized for others to see, favorite, comment on (unless you set your privacy settings so that they can't see them!)
- Forums!
- The ability to write a comment as a character, using a specific image from the character's gallery!
- The ability to make world profiles (mentioned above) that you can categorize your characters in, AND you can allow others to enter their characters into your worlds! Each world page is complete with the following:
--- It's own bulletins section
--- It's own characters section, which can contain characters of your own and/or other people's characters!
--- It's own forums!! Also it's own comment section
--- A members section

The site is in alpha-invite mode right now, which means you can't register for an account without an invite code!
