Well, things haven't been so good recently. I never thought I'd say this, but I've been blocked by 2 people so far.

So first, let me say I do message people on here sometimes asking if they wanted to chat and maybe be friends but ONLY IF they're interested. Mainly I ask people who have the same particular interests as me listed on their profile. There's nothing wrong with that as far as I know, and I don't do it too often. I'm not forcing myself to be friends with anyone, if they tell me they don't want to be friends that's fine and I leave them alone. Simple as that. I can't remember if I've mentioned it before, but I have trouble making friends. Let me just state, if you don't wanna be friends, just tell me. I don't want to be made as someone trying to enter your life in a seemingly aggressive way.

I won't say who, but recently I messaged someone on here days ago and added them on Steam but the request was declined. Earlier today the person I tried to add sent me a request. I accepted it and we then started to chat. Things were normal, we talked about things and they asked if I played a certain game and I told them I tried it but didn't have much interest in it. Then they accused me of lying about something I don't know what and called me a "childish, immature weirdo" or something like that then put me down because I played games like Fortnite & GTA. They then blocked me here & on Steam before I could explain myself further. They claimed I was desperate for friends as if it were a bad thing and I feel like they basically added me only to put me down for that. I blocked them back and if they ever wanted to apologize, well it's tough luck for them. All I can say is if you can't respect me or my interests, then don't bother talking to me or watching my profile. I really don't like being accused as someone I'm not or having motives that seem forced, and it makes me really depressed that people will treat me this way.

As for the other person who blocked me, well, I think they might've been creeped out when asking if they wanted to be friends. I know someone blocked me since their name disappeared from my watch list.

With that said, I'm afraid to interact with anyone in this community, and I'm thinking of being more active on BlueSky from now on. Not sure yet, but that's the way I feel right now.

Yeah, a rather depressing update, but I started this account in hopes to make new friends, not have people be against me. : (
