Work Schedule:
I work on digital commissions 5 days a week, from 10pm-6am California time. My days off typically fall whenever I feel I need to give my mind, eyes, and/or hand a rest.

Hello all!

I usually go by Mikial (Me-kai-el). I paint, doodle, play music, and just generally try to stay creative. I tend to crave change, so I am always trying new things. In fact, trying to make a little niche for myself here on FA is my newest venture. For me this is for fun, and meeting people. So, as soon as it stops being that for me I'll likely finish up projects and check out. If you decide to watch I am sure you'll see a lot of changes as I push to change my style around.

As far as basic personal stuff, I genuinely love talking to people, but I am horrible at initiating conversations. If you want to be friends, collab with me, or anything like that, please let me know! Fair warning: I do have a ZERO tolerance policy for people who waste my time, trolls, and generally mean people. So, I block immediately. Other than that I can talk about almost anything. On another note, I do have the ol' one-two-punch of anxiety and depression, so please don't take it personally if you see me vanish for a few days! While I will finish work, I tend to check out to people in general. To end this part on a brighter note, I love learning about everything, so if you have a random fact, share it with me!

If you're interested in my work, but want to know if I'm reliable, below is sorta my resume.

I am a semi-professional/professional visual artist in "traditional" mediums. I have done almost everything from makeup, to full wall murals. I started experimenting in digital work not too long ago for fun, and I will admit that I hated the disconnect of not looking directly at what I was drawing. So, naturally, I stopped for quite a while to move my focus back to traditional. After some experimentation and a hardware change I have decided to give it another go. I almost always finish my projects on time with the only real exceptions being sickness, or the like. As far as quality goes, I believe that is subjective. However, I will be trying my best to upload art regularly to showcase my abilities.

Please, don't be too fooled by my "low quality" sketches. This is more of a holdover from my traditional techniques, but I tend to leave work somewhat sloppy until I know what is going on and I tune the design while lining. My view is there's no point in marrying a design before you know what you want the final product to be. The only downside at the moment is I do tend to work slowly while I fine-tune my approach to working digitally. With that said, I try my best to complete things within a week of payment, but I can take up to a month depending on workloads (irl and digital).
