Hi!

If you've ever heard about that bouncy alfalfa cube obsessed rocker kangaroo, its ME!

The character:

Rain is a kangaroo who is stuck in the 1980's mentality of booze, metal and excess. Hes a handful to begin with but once you warm up to him hes a pretty fun roo. He believes very strongly that we all choose our path in life, we either follow the path everyone else has laid out for us or we cut our own... this roo is certainly the latter <smirk>

Born in Oklahomain the early 70's He grew up around a great social change and revolution. Latching on to the do or die mentality he found solice in a music style known as rock and roll. As the years progressed, the little joey would sing and bounce to his favorite songs entertaining the rest of his mob. As he progressed into his teen years, he always had the fillys swooning for his bad ass temperment and warm tender heart.

One day while he was working under the hood of a car at his dads garage, a local band broke down. AS he worked his ears were focused on this new style of metal the band was working on which was becomming known as 'glam rock'. Since they were going to wait a while they began to practice just outside of the garage perking the young roos attention. Being a 3 man band, the sound wasnt right so during a break he picked up a Les Paw and started to play along. The band loved him and decided he would make a great addition to thier group. The band 'Rebel Fist' spent alot of time touring bars and local dives, never really making alot of money, but always paying the tab <grin>

The lead singer for the band 'Alpine Fox' was a little to heavy into the underground drug scene. one day the group found him curled up in a corner, he had shaved most of the fur from his body and was drawing flowers in the carpet with housepaint. Unfortunately the resulting collapse of the lead singer of the band put everyones future in jeopardy. Rain stepped up and told them of his past and the band gave him a shot on thier next gig.

The roo realized that front man was the place for him. He loved bounding around entertaining the crowd and belting out some of the bands best hits at the clubs. One in particular was a cover toon for an old song called 'Thats Life' where he dressed up as a leather clad cowbow and strutted around on stage near drunk at the time, pulling every cute girl he could on stage... in the club at the time was a talent agent for Grey Rabbit Records. After the show, he approached the roo and asked him if they would like to move up to the top... ofcourse the roo and the band jumped at this possibility, but the name had to go.. it wasnt catchy enough for the mass market....Remembering thier former frontman the band agreed on a new name

Def Vulpine was born.

This account is for the roo to post his random brain dances and drunken ideas and rough drafts for new songs hes dreaming up. Occasionally he might draw something, but hes usually to busy on tour.
