The past almost 10 years of my life, have been some of the best of my life, and alot of those fond, wonderful memories I owe to Athus. He was the one who initially got me to move away from my home town, and branch out to new lives, and challenges. And for that, I don't think I could ever repay him. I've had the opportunity to live in a wide variety of areas, make so many more friends then I had on my own, and also helped me break a few barriers of my own that I had put in place, that just seemed silly after they were taken care of.

I'll miss Athus terribly, and the part of my life that he's made up for the past 10 years, will never be filled again. Not was he just my room mate for those years, but he was my soul brother, from the moment we met all those years back, we were the best, and closest of friends, willing to do, and help each other through thick and thin. I only hope I was able to help him through as much as I feel he helped me through all those years.

But one thing he did leave me with, is a love I could never replace, someone who could be so honest, that no matter what needed be said, even if voices were to be raised to get points across, neither one of us would remain upset for long. And we were always soon back to joking and teasing each other with a brotherly love that transcended blood ties.

He helped me push my art further and further when living with him, and I plan to pick it back up more as soon as a bit more of the dust settles, I know he'd been trying to get me to draw more recently. So expect to see more from me in the near future.

One thing I do know from Athus, and how he felt about passing on, he wouldn't want anyone to be sad for his passing, but to know that he's moved on to a better life, and to remember the good times. He'd do the same for any of us, and I wouldn't have it any other way myself, even if he was taken in my opinion prematurely. But I guess my opinion has a bit of greed behind it, wanting to keep him around, to enjoy his company more.

To everyone else out there, thank you so much for your support through all of this, it's made a world of difference in his passing, I really can't thank you all enough. <3
