something something fursona something something
8 years ago
So I had a think; my furstona is a forest ... or at least I have two which together are a forest. I often feel like I'm two different people, and this is sort of kind of a reference to that, but also I had two idea for fursonas and hey, why not link the characters. This is somewhat overwrought but it's been bouncing around my head and I like it as a story.
They're both technically spirits, but represent different things.
Rosedawn
She represents the essence of the forest; the sights, the smells, the sounds. She also represents the more indefinable feeling of being amongst trees. One could say that she is the spirit of the trees themselves. She takes the form of a brown and green deer creature with large branch like antlers; sometimes these sprout flowers, depending on the season.
She tends to be quite quiet and docile, but friendly if given time and space to warm to people.
Omuku
Omuku is much more like the spirit of the animals and beasts of the forest. Rather than representing one particular animal or species he represents all the life within the forest, from the smallest insect or rodent to the largest deer or even bears. His form is less fixed than Rosedawn's, but it often includes hooves, large ears, and a long tail.
He can be fairly playful and excitable, but tends to be distrustful of new things and people.
The two know each other well, and are good friends (although nothing more, the idea of the two of them getting it on is kind of bad and wrong to me, they are more like siblings than anything else); although they are not often seen together.
