After 12 ish years of not doing art, I got thinking about the friend who initially got me into drawing in the first place. And RPing. And was my first true online friend, and for a long time best friend. Long story short, they vanished about 12 years back and it shattered my motivation for arting. Found everything I tried doing coming out exceptionally mediocre for what I was trying to do, or just feeling off. Got to thinking about them and ended up drawing something that if they're still out there, hopefully they might see some day. Or not. Either way, it was a burst of inspiration and motivation, that seems to have dislodged whatever mental block had been holding me back all this time. So, hopefully, expect to see more derg doodles soon. As mid as they might be compared to the awesome stuff filling the internet these days. Maybe that's what part of the issue was. Feeling like there was no point when so much better existed, rather than doing it to create the things I care about and want to share. So myeah :P

Also, gonna be swinging down to FWA next month, so hopefully see a friend or two there if any of them are still active here and see this~<3
