Traditional Artist | Registered: Dec 25, 2008 07:19
Hello! Welcome to my small corner of FA!
What to say....well, I am a traditional artist, preferring watercolor pencils and wood burning.
Sometimes I like to mix the two =) I am not the greatest but I have improved a lot over the years.
Aliehs Slade is my fursona, so you guessed it...I like to draw "animal people" >^.^<
Art is something I enjoy very much, and what I consider to be my only real talent.
I am painfully shy and have a bit of social anxiety when around large groups of people but I am always open and willing to make new acquaintances!
Aside from art, I greatly enjoy watching movies, anime, and listening to music.
Favorite Artist:
arphalia
(My greatest influence in the furry world and still favorite artist to this day.)
My Pyro God: Ken Potter
(His pyrography is beyond exceptional.)

Now accepting Wooden Badge Commissions!!
Heya guys!!
I know....I said I was back and yet I have uploaded next to nothing. Well...there's a reason for that. You see...I am experiencing the worst art block I have ever had. I am almost hesitant to even call it an art block as it seems more severe than that. However....while I was at work the other night I cooked up this idea that I thought I might as well try to pitch and see if anyone is interested in it.
My goals are pretty simple....I greatly enjoyed doing the Wooden Badges before, its always a lot of fun and inspiring to get to work with other fursonas and see what challenges it might pose to accomplish using my wood burning skills. The biggest appeal to the badges for me was the size, they usually made for quick turn arounds and I love seeing just how much personality I can pack into these things to really make them special for you as the commissioner. I really miss that interaction and even getting to make new friends as I have been so blessed to be able to do a few times. So....it seems like a safe way to try and get out of this art funk so I can get back to doing larger things and revive this gallery and....maybe make a little money while I am at it, which leads me to my next goal.....
Some of you may be aware that I finally became a Ferrant last year. I wasn't being greedy, I only wanted 2 so that they could have each other, but somehow.....true to ferret math....I now have 4 XD. Being able to take care of these carpetsharks is definitely a whole new experience for me and have managed to bring a lot of joy to my seemingly dark life. I actually gave up my art room for them....and have since moved myself to the kitchen table. Its not as bad as it sounds, I prefer to work in the sunshine anyway when I can so its kind of a good thing. However, now that I have 4 I really want to give them more room to spread out on the days that I can't let them out for as long as I usually do or theres a day when I can't do it at all. It wasn't so bad with my first 2 because of their small sizes but since adding my 2 big boys I feel like its just a little cramped for them. So....I want to expand their cage by connecting 2 double story Ferret Nation cages. However....the Ferret Nation cage I already have now.....is the outdated model =( It is not compatible with the newer 182 model so....I basically need to buy 2 new cages. For those of you who own ferrets, you know these things are expensive...So....My goal is to buy one cage, sell the one I have (I think I MIGHT be able to get $100-$125 out of it), and then purchase the second one. I am working full time now, which pays pretty decently, but I also have a mortgage, bills, and a trip I am saving up for in September, along with other things I would like to do to my house.
So....after all that explaining, I think you can see that if opening commissions can help jumpstart my art ju ju again, the extra income would go a long way to helping me to achieve these goals. I won't lie, I am slightly nervous that maybe my abilities to complete these commissions may have rusted or won't come back at all, but.....you never know until you try, right?? Besides, I don't even know how well my business will be received, its been quite a long time =) But if you enjoy my art, and missed out on the chance to get a badge before, give me a shot =) I promise I will work hard to deliver the best I can do, as I always do, I just ask that you bare with me a bit. Who knows, maybe after I do one the ball will roll as smoothly as it ever did, if not better!
So......for Commission Info....please visit this journal:

If you are not interested in a wooden badge but were interested in something else I do have several other small commission type possibilities that can range in price. I still have several Skullydeer blanks, all of my Wind Chime blanks which can be seen here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/14547188/
I haven't changed my prices even though I think at one time I said I was thinking of doing so. I have been gone so long I missed out on the new commission and folder feature add ons! Thats cool! So you can also look there as well for the same info thats in the provided journal. I look forward to any feedback from all of you as always, and hope I get to work with you very soon!! <3
