I am Toa! And that is capital then lower case. TOA in all caps is a placeholder name that I can no longer change.
Been in the fandom since 2003 and it has been a wild ride! I mostly just chat when possible and provide to the arts. Also trying to get back into the photography and videography scene again!
I am an Ohio.
Mega Man fan, so you know what tickles my fancy!

Two Weeks! Two Weeks! House & Baby Update!
Thought you saw the last of me, eh? Well hahaha! I'm still here and giving another random update on my world!
I neglected to mention over the summer but Roz and I somehow managed to snag a house down in Kentucky! Built in 1970, the house features three bedrooms, wood vaulted ceilings with giant angled windows, tall thin windows in the living room that open up awning style, a basement with a garage and two WIP rooms I'm using as an office/production studio and a 'retro room' for all my old tech plus a future den area, and a deck out back with yard and a wrap-around driveway that needs tender love. And the most lovely feature of all: a giant 50 year old oak tree planted four and a half feet from the house which is destroying the basement and foundation come to find out. Slowly but surely the house is sinking inwards and we're on a rush to raise some money in order to get a structural engineer, arborist and landscaper out to take care of all that! That's what ya get for buying a house as-is, especially one where the previous occupants didn't take care of it, but it's been manageable so far! I love fixing things and it helps being a stubborn German! I've fought too hard for this house to lose it and am going to love it back to health! It's nice being back near my stomping grounds with all the resources we need. It's also nice being able to sing in the shower without strangers being able to hear you through the wall and having a yard to cut every Wednesday! I'm such a dad!
Now is the time to distribute the panic memes as we have just two weeks or so until the baby is due! I've been workin' away the days painting, replacing flooring, gathering necessary materials for the room and making sure as much of the house is suitable for Charlie when she comes! If you thought my absence was long before well... until I get settled into newborn parenting I'll be here and there and everywhere! I definitely won't be making it to cons anytime soon, that's for sure. But from what I'm told there will be more downtime than I'm expecting so hopefully I can pick up some editing as it would be a nice change of pace from the constant house work. I'm also told my dad bod will be coming out though I prefer the term "father figure!"
Well that's enough jib-jab tonight. I hear Roz upstairs hammering away in the baby room and I need to pack up my hospital stay kit still. Next journal might come next year lol. If ya want to reach out to me, Telegram should be in my profile somewhere methinks. And I'm not leaving the fandom or anything as y'all are just too much fun!

There's no such thing as spontaneous combustion. Sometimes we must set our own selves on fire.
