My first exposure to the furry fandom was back in 2005. In my pursuit of new reading material, I stumbled upon a very interesting site called Yiffstar. You may recognize it by another name today: SoFurry.
For whatever reason, I remember not knowing exactly how to feel about what I had discovered at first, especially when it came to the more risqué content. Despite that, I decided to give it a chance and over time, I grew to truly enjoy this strange website that I had stumbled upon; immersing myself wholeheartedly in the stories and eventually the art as well. The rest is history.
Despite having been in the fandom for a number of years, my fursona, Aelwyn, was not designed until 2014 and in 2016, he received a substantial update.
