Some people know me as wolf, others know me as Morgen. I am whichever you see, or seen me as. I like to play video games and write stories. I am actually currently working on writing a destiny based story. If you stumble across it and read it, I am open to criticism. I will take it to improve my writing, and hopefully make a great story out of it. Thanks for stopping by, and feel free to say hello.

The Warlock named Morgen part 4 hive welcoming party
5 years ago
Morgen stepped out from his ship. He had his cannon on his back, and a refurbished dark age auto rifle at the ready. He scanned the area. The rig was completely covered with hive growth. A very insect like material covered the golden age rig structures. After more careful observation, he began to proceed on through the hive infested buildings, when finally he reached the coordinates that was sent to them by Zavala. It was a massive cave entrance that has almost looked naturally made due to hive corruption. Morgen stood in silence for a few moments before his ghost spoke.
"Brood nest."
Its voice was soft and full of worry.
"I dont think it is a very good idea for us to go down their."
Morgen gazed on the entrance, and not moments later a poud screech roared from inside of the enterance, and a large wave of chattering thrall came rushing out towards Morgen. Hungry for his light, the thrall are nimble, bone like creatures. They know nothing but to feed. With an endless dark appetite, they quickly closed in on the warlock. Morgen jumped back and quickly readied his rifle. He unloaded into the hoard of thrall, knocking them down with ease, but they just kept on coming. Morgen dropped his empty mag onto the pile of bones, and quickly slapped a new one in and kept his auto rifle singing. Now down to short controlled bursts, it was only a matter of time before the thrall overwhelmed the warlock. His auto rifle ran try again, but when he grabbed a new mag, a thrall had closed in on his left arm. It sank its teeth deep into Morgens arm, and bit down through the fabric of his robes and all the way down to the bone. Morgen quickly threw down a grenade and moved for cover. He opened his right hand and empowered it with light, then in a fast, fluid motion, threw the light to the ground, creating a rift to heal his wounds. A standard Warlock method, he was ready to fight again. Another wave of thrall approach, but this time backed by a giant, heavily armored hive knight. It wielded a shield made out of the dense bone structure its armor was forged in, and a sword that was fueled with the hives very own power, the power of the sword logic. The wave of thrall closed in on Morgen quickly, and quickly, they were put down by a swift vortex grenade from the warlock. One by one, they disintegrated into void light. Before Morgen had a chance to reload, the knight had rushed him, dropping his cleaver like blade onto Morgen without hesitation. Morgens auto rifle managed to take the majority of the blow, but unfortunately, it was shattered. Morgen leaped back as the knight recovered and began to charge him again. Morgen focused on the knight charging him, took a deep breath, and as the knight raised his mighty sword to strike at Morgen, he exhaled, and as the blade began to fall, he took a quick step to the side, and in the motion, leveled a palm strike were the elbow join of the sword bearing knights arm would be. The knight roared it in anger whilst dropping the sword to the ground. Morgen didn't waste any time in picking the sword up. The knight held his shield in a more defensive manner in an attempt to stand his ground against the Warlock. Morgen paced left for a moment, planning his strike against the weakened knight. Again, taking a deep breath in, and exhaling, he charged the knight, and dodged off to the right of his shield. Once recovered, he Cleaved the knights arm clean off, leaving the blade impeded into the metal floor of the rig. The knight knelt down in pain as the warlock centered himself on the knight. He picked up the blade that had taken the knights arm off, and as the knight gazed up at Morgen with its eyes still burning with hatred, Morgen drove the blade into the mouth of the knight. The knight fell back and turned to ash along with the sword. The fight was over, and the entrance to the nest was wide open. His ghost still didn't like the idea of going in, but they both knew that Sabot had to be found, and either brought back home, or layed to rest. Either way, there was no going back. Morgen readied his hand cannon, and proceeded into the mouth of the nest
