29 submissions
And why not? They're wiley, crafty, and playful creatures with the balls (pun intended) to go toe-to-toe with any of the more commonly feared species.
i put effort into all 5 of my submissions for the '13 draft, but Esequiel "El Brujo" Cajeta (G/F, Tanuki) outstrips them all when it comes to speed, power, vision, and raw talent. He's had the honor of being named to Team Argentina's reserve squad, where he impressed Biloxi Voodoo superstar and fellow countryfur, Nathan Spinner (F, Iguana).
He enters the draft as Spinner's highly recommended protege.
I'll keep Esequiel's bio here short. He's an Argentinian of Japanese descent raised with his seven siblings in the squalid barrios of Buenos Aires.
Esequiel was mentored from a young age by his grandfather - a WWII war criminal living in asylum - and . Beyond supporting the controversial decision to ban taurs in the FBA, he has even argued for extending the ban all avians and winged creatures. He has since apologized and retracted the comments, claiming they were taken out of context.
On the court, Esequiel has a reputation as an aggressive slasher and offensive juggernaut. His nickname, "El Brujo" (The Sorcerer) refers to his almost preternatural ability to read the court and improvise or adjust on the fly.
Despite his offensive upside, Esequiel's defensive game remains a work in progress. His singular focus often hinders his ability to transition effectively. In addition, he has a tendency to showboat and opt for the high-risk play, which will likely result in turnovers, interceptions, and foul troubles at the professional level.

Hi, i saw your art, it's wonderful and your fursona is cute, lambs are cute
This submission got my attention, because when i saw the surname of esequiel and then i burst in laughs because "cajeta" in Argentina means pussy or vagina, and i imagined how the other furs in his neighbourhood picked on him, making jokes about it.
Well, there's another coincidence, I'm an Italian descendant and my great grandfather fought in the WW2 and he got asylum in Argentina, he changed his surname and then moved to Chile and started a new life with a medical instruments factory.
Funny thing: Tom is like a short version of my second name Tomassi.

Omigosh haha, I named him after the goats milk candy in Mexico, I never thought a different dialect would mean...omg haha! That's hilarious. I suppose he's stuck with it now! Oh man, poor Esequiel!
Thanks again for your kind comment! I wonder why Argentina was such a popular place for asylum? Anyway, it's awesome to meet you! I'd love to talk more!

I forgot to add, they should ban avians, winged creatures and taurs , taurs have 4 hind legs and they can reach high speeds, avians and winged creatures has something called aerodinamics, it's unfair they just play as victims, well as an anthro feline this is my point of view.
