ok im might as well post this up, other then tumblr, so to answer the Q? to all what tablet I use here it is along side my computer.
I use a wacom cintiq 12wx
and a sony vaio E series
all about $1600+

if ya willing to look around http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/ there are some damn usefull articals from artests on there. i'm using toshiba tecra m4, hp 2710p, hp tc1100 and have been doodling on tab pcs since the old tc1100 came out. just what you need if you're a mobile artist. but if you just draw at home then i cannot recommend enough in investing in a cintiq.
though on the other hand you can get a samsung note 10inch thing (or the new one when it comes out) and use your current wacom pen on it and get autodesk sketchbook for it. or go the apple route and get it on the ipad just a case of finding a really good quality capacitive pen to draw with.

I've been hearing lots of good about Samsung tablets, so I've been considering gettin one of them. I'll take a poke around that site though.
I'd like to get one because then I can take my work around, but it just makes doing digital art and animation that much easier doing directly on screen, especially since I'm so used to drawing with graphite. I have a hard time gettin that same accuracy with my normal wacom tablet without having to go over it numerous times before it looks right.

XD if its accuracy then tablet pcs just ent got it unless you dig out the 100 point calibration hack https://tinyurl.com/nznnls8 even then it only sets calibrated it for windows native pen aware programs (not photoshop or sai) the useless wacom drivers only do 2 or 4 point calibration :/ iirc its 255 pressure lvls. (secretly we all know its so you buy a cintiq ;) )
though once adjusted to your pens offset you hardly notice it. there are some mighty powerful tab pcs out there that you can just cram full with ram and SSD but the biggest weak point from my experience was the total uselessness of the graphics chip supplier to actually cool it effectively but im getting a bit deep into it here XD.
