So for more practice I decided I'd try to draw some of my favorite OCs, so here's Avaranth, the Pretender. They're a fictional race that I based an old roleplay with a friend on. To give the gist of it they're dragons who look similar to Easterns, but can shapeshift and actually eat metal and precious gems. They can eat real food, but metal and gems are far tastier, and not to mention filling.
As for the drawing itself I'm not too proud, it isn't nearly as good as I expected. I just couldn't get the pose right and he's supposed to look more sultry than insane, at least in this picture. On the bright side, at least it has a proper background (don't tell anyone I just threw it there in 10 minutes)!
