I never thought of soaking ceramic in tea. It looks lovely!
Do you just soak/paint it after bisque or before?

well, I didn't actually soak it, I poured excess tea over him to "feed" him, which is one of the points of having a teapet. I said soaked because I'd poured a lot on the thing

the color it has is from the firing and styling. it SHOULD Get an interesting patina over time, though ^^
