I like messing with different art styles from time to time and the Archie art style is some thing that has come to mind a few times. I think Lara and Julie look a little odd with lips but like every female character in the Archie style has lips like that, i think its also interesting how they each look a bit older then how i usually draw them

I think the creepiness comes from Lara's eyes, Julie looks good in that style and rings as well looks good, but I think cuz Lara's head is big and the red eyes with the smile stands out more and makes it creepy. i saw Lara first before I notice Rings and Julie were there.

for some reason i don't see this as creepy, but yeah looking at Lara's red eyes dose make like a demonic chorus start in my head, but i didn't feel it was right to give her just black eyes like most of the characters in the Archie comics, and it would have looked even creeper if i had added a pupil. Yeah i like experementing with different styles
