Corny title is corny. xD
Full Illustration commission that I got from

Totally in love with how this came out. Her work is well worth the price and it was a joy working with her. I def recommend commissioning this artist!
Not sure on all the details of your character? No problem! Neither was I! xD Skal has been in my head in various designs for the better part of 7 years now, and I wanted a good first image of him. When I came across soulscapes gallery I knew that I had to get one from her. The quality of her work is absolutely amazing and she pays close attention to detail.
Skal-Tel, or Skal for short, is the literal representation of my personality. He's a winged argonian (Saxhleel as they prefer to be called in their native tongue) from the Sarpa Tribe. Little is known or even listed about these creatures. They live in the interior of Argonia, or Black Marsh as the men and mer of Tamriel have taken to calling the province.
If I ever decide to upload any more of my writings here then you'll see Skal take various forms and roles, but this is how I first imagined him way back in the day. I love fire and reptiles love heat, so I figured it would only be natural for my fursona to love fire magic! <3

She deserves the faves more than my page does. xD
For those interested here's some lore on the argonian race:

i had a few humans in the games, in morrowind i started as dark elves. thann went to khajiits, then in oblivion i went to argonians, and yeah the humans are so weak. when you get an argonian whose desiese resistant and can breath underwater, what other character do you need.
oh, my skyrim has 2 characters both argonians. and my current one is lvl36

inorite? xD Love the health regen in Skyrim for them too. Histskin <3 Makes for an effective bloodmage. :P
I think my highest level character in Skryim is 83; one of my female arognians. Can't remember the character's name off the top of my head, but she's your standard One-Handed, Block, Heavy Armor warrior. Fun character to play, and since Bethesda introduced the ability to make skills legendary I can keep her as a specific play-style rather than a jack-of-all-trades character. Just make Block legendary, turn the difficulty all the way down so you don't die, and go find a giant or two. Rubberband that left trigger down and let the game sit. xD

Best way is to figure out where some gold mines are and strip them, then make some gold jewelry. Since they patched the iron daggers exploit its now based on item value and the gold necklaces/rings are currently the best bang for your buck. If you want you can also enchant and sell them to work on enchanting and speechcraft. ^.=.^
You know what, I've created almost every combination under the sun but I have yet to create Skal in any of my games. xD I've just never been satisfied with the creation options.
I'm hoping to do so in TES:O though when that comes out. I was sorely disappointed with the creation options for the argonians in Skyrim. =\
More love for the beast races! <3

It depends for me really. I like the role of the Dragonborn, and it only makes sense for an argonian, so I might do it if I wanted to do a bit of a fanfic or whatnot. I havnt done any actual writing in years though... ;~; xD
I really need to get Skal's background back up I had it up about a year or so ago and took it down to revamp it but never got around to it. Too much work and xbawks. :x

I don't think that Gryphon could survive very long in Black Marsh, what with the flesh flies and all. And the diseases. If he didn't get eaten by the flies he'd probably get killed off by the diseases. XD That's one of the reasons in lore why the emperor of Cyrodiil hasn't bothered conquering Black Marsh. There's no point. XD
Actually, there is a way! My mate says it doesn't look QUITE as good as Skyrim, but I think it's excellent!

He didn't actually burn it down. Its an already fallen log mired in the bank of a small swamp pond. Not even pond. More like a puddle. You know what I mean. XD
Anyway, I like to imagine that he's searching for some slavers that are trying to hide from him. Why spend the time searching when you can simply burn them out? :P

I hate the cold. See current Icon. XDLove fire though. Bit of a pyro IRL. Its just so fascinating to me. :B
Yea, those damn dunmer/imperials. They both got what they deserved when the argonians invaded and kicked their asses and the Red Mountain errupted in Morrowind. Then the imperials when the Altmeri Dominion dominated them in the Great War and they lost the ready of their support as a result. Not to mention the fact that anyone other than argonians get practically eaten alive by the flesh flies and whatnot. P:

Hey, I can still produce my own body heat, its just that scales done work very well at keeping it inside me. ;~;
I believe that argonians arnt true cold bloods. I believe that they're a hybrid. Able to produce their own heat through the burning of calories and whatnot like humans, but that the climate also influences their body temp like modern-day reptiles.
No, I don't believe that the argonians and dunmer will ever put that past behind them. I wanna know why the Khajiit and argonians hate each other though. Ima have to look that one up.

He's not even a dragon really. He's actually a species called argonian. A bunch of lizardmen from the Elderscrolls series by Bethesda Softworks. Their species is very diverse according to lore, one of those subspecies being discribed as winged, so I took it and ran with it. XD
