It's more like a sweatshirt and I got it on amazon. It's most excellent for the frozen tundra on which I live.

A nerd-ster? We're all free to define ourselves, now aren't we? Either way, I thought it was an interesting concept to use riding jacket elements on a hooded sweater, what with the sideline fastening and straps. It made it like a riding jacket, but being a sweater, it had none of the real benefit for riding with it on. I know they had them for guys, but I always felt that they'd look far better on women. Your photo only confirms what I thought when I first saw them a few months back on amazon for twenty bucks.
I've always thought of myself as a nerd, or simply an artist... described as the "harry potter" girl. But five years ago in college hipsters fell in love with me and refused to let me be a loser in peace. So yes, there is a lot of hipster influence in my appearance.
I liked the way the collar/hood covers up my neck, because I live in rural Minnesota. It was only twenty bucks and I knew it would fit me. This wouldn't work at all if I was a guy living in this area. I would probably be shot.

I am rather small, 5 feet tall. I fit into Asian clothes sizes better then your average American. If you plan to purchase any Asian style of clothing keep in mind that the sizes tend to run about 2-4 sizes smaller. I fit into small American clothes normally, but when I buy online from the far east I tend to be a large or XL since I have a much more curvy feminine figure than most Asians.
This particular sweatshirt/jacket is an XL and it fits me loosely enough that I can add some layers underneath.
