Actually, this isn't so much a 'clashing' as it is a complimenting of each color :P
The blue is accented by the pink and likewise! Both are risen above, with the darker background making the blue and pink so much brighter, like a deep sick neon greens or blues on a giant monster that is white/black, the glows are so accentuated that you see them more than even the larger shape.
