Resurrected a sketch from a year or two ago and finally got to finishing the line art along with starting on the lighting. This is a full on illustration piece for Mrs. Bees, which I am glad to finally start finishing :3 <3 All that’s needed is to adjust the lighting on the body and furniture, add some colours and then strengthen some shadows :U

not only getting across, but also spreading onto the onlooker. Already! I can't even imagine how powerful and wonderful this will be, when it's finished!

That lighting-- so perfect! LOVE the light seeping through the shades, the darkened room really sets the mood for this. Excellent work! :)

I really like the simplicity of this, as-is. It's got some great atmosphere. I'm lookin' forward to seeing the finished piece!

Thank you :D! I really hope to preserve that simplicity since a lot of detail went into the inking and shading. I'll make sure the colours help the piece 'pop' but not overwhelm the lineart :3
