Was taking some time to loosen my hand up with 
nimroderick today before I continue on my list of commissions.

Pretty happy with the vibrancy of the color! Hopefully this will roll over into my commissions today and help them look well also!

The whole pic is done one one layer! I pulled open a new layer, sketched the elk, then underneath it I started painting and within 15 minutes or so I got rid of the sketch layer and just worked entirely on my painting layer. I don't always do that, but with a reference its easy to use one layer for everything.
My brush was a fixed size, pressure sensitive opacity brush.
